Why is the most popular sports thread about the Lakers?

We should be talking about the USU in particular USU Football. It was the team's winningest season ever. Now naysayers will say that it is some sort of fluke and Gary Anderson will be hired away before we know it. But I take him as a man of his word and he has said he plans on being around for awhile (plus he has one son currently on the time and two more who are high school seniors who plan on playing at USU, why would he pass onthe unique chance to coach his sons at the college level?). He has already turned down a dumptruck full of money to go coach Cal. He likes being in Utah and has been here most of his life and is happy with the current situation at USU.

USU had a great season and was a handful of points away from being undefeated. Tune in to ESPN this Saturday afternnon to watch USU play in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl! Go Aggies!

Aggies win the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, finishing the season 11-2. Let's hope the Aggies match their record next year!

It was a good game, and it was good to see the Aggies do well. It would be great to see them do as well next year, though I think I'd be content if they could just keep themselves near the top of the MWC consistently.

Well, I am disappointed that Gary left (I expected another year or two so he could coach his younger sons), but I am still excited to move to MWC. I expect that with Matt Wells at the helm, and Chuckie at QB, USU will still compete for the MWC championship next year.
