I admit that I don't understand why someone would take joy in denigrating something holy. It's like saying that swearing at your kids is a lot of fun. RipplecutBuddha Posted April 8, 2013 Report Share Posted April 8, 2013 The only thing I think I'd say is that intimacy within a marriage needs to be on a level that both are comfortable with, and not where one is enjoying the experience at the expense of the other. In my mind, it speaks to the respect and reverence that one ought to have for one's spouse in general. Marriage, IMHO, is a partnership of equal respect and consideration. Yes there are different roles each must fulfill, however subjugation is not one for either spouse to feel the need to accept.
