how do I tell my bishop?

I just need people to read this.this last couple of months I've gotten into this really bad habit of masturbation.I would've told my bishop already, but the only thing holding me back is that I don't know how to tell him.also would I not be able to pass/prepare/take the sacrament because I really want to still.thank you to all!:)

Here's what you do:

You call the executive secretary of your ward and set an appointment to see the Bishop.

You tell him what you've told us.

Listen for the Spirit and to your Bishop for guidance and help.

IMHO it sounds like you already know what you should do. The 'how to' is just what you already said, The " last couple of months I've gotten into this really bad habit of {problem}." So the conversation begins.

If you struggle, heck, write down what you said here or a variant of it and read it to the bishop.
