2 Blessings from the law of tithing

Significant but subtle blessings.

As we live the law of tithing we often receive sudden but subtle blessings. Ones we never expected to receive.

Some of the diverse blessings we receive as significant but subtle. They can be received if we are observant.

Blessings are poured out by the windows of heaven.

We can receive the gift of gratitude. A grateful person is rich in contentment.

God granted the Stripling Warriors an assurance that they would be protected. Assurance, peace, faith and hope might not seem what the warriors wanted. But it was what they needed to move forward spiritually.

As we are spiritually attentive and observant, we will be blessed with eyes that see more clearly, ears that hear more clearly and thoughts that understand more.

The disbursement of tithes was given by revelation.

All members must pay 10% of their interests annually.

These sacred funds are used for a rapidly growing church. Missionary work, temples, translating and printing scriptures, and education.

How can the money be used all over the world so succinctly? It is the Lord’s work.

The church lives within its means.

It sets aside for emergency needs.

The leaders of the Lord’s church feel a strong responsibility to take care of the tithes.

Remember the story of the widow’s mite.

The honest payment of tithing is more than just a duty.

Obedience to this commandment will open the windows of heaven.

The simplicity of the Lord’s way is governing His church can help us in our own families and life.
