Be careful who you follow.

Because our Savior was obedient he atoned for sins making possible our resurrection and preparing a way to return to our Heavenly Father.

When we obey we accept His sacrifice.

Jesus taught us how to obey in simple terms.  “If ye love me follow my commandments” and “Come follow me.”

Each Sunday we renew our baptismal covenants by partaking of the Sacrament.

As we live the gospel we progress in our understanding of obedience.

At times members choose to practice selective obedience by picking and choose which commandments they will follow.

It is the Savior who directs His prophets in all dispensations.

We recognize the role of agency.

The Savior prayed 3 times to his Father in Heaven while in the Garden of Gethsemane.

God would not override the Savior’s agency but sent an angel to strengthen his beloved son.

The Savior made his own choice to endure to the end.

We look forward to hearing the words “Well done thy good and faithful servant.”

It takes a commitment to sustain our leaders and follow their counsel.

We must remember the consequences of our choices.

Did Lucifer and his followers understand the consequences of their choice?

Why do any of us choose to be disobedient when we know the eternal consequences of sin.

Our love of the Savior is the key to the Savior-like obedience.

Many find it acceptable to terminate the life of an unborn child for convenience.

As disciples of Christ we have a sacred obligation to uphold His laws and comments and the covenants that we take upon us.

Obedience brings blessings.
