pam Posted April 6, 2014 Report Share Posted April 6, 2014 Joseph Smith was told at age 17 that his name would be linked to good. There will always be a force to disrupt good. The truth will always be opposed. God is a personal exalted being. An eternal father. He is our father. The church today is fundamentally the same church that Christ organized in His day. The priesthood authority has been restored in our day. God speaks to prophets today and will speak to you and me as well. The billions who live and die without the gospel and the ordinances for salvation are not lost. All mankind may be saved by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel. The family is the pattern of heaven. There is no dispute about what Joseph Smith accomplished. Only about how he did them. Did Joseph Smith do it alone or with the help of heaven? Ask God.
