You are always a child of God.

 

This will carry us through the most difficult times in our lives.

 

You will always and forever remain as a daughter of God.

 

It does not guarantee you a divine inheritance.

 

How do we obtain blessings?

 

Walking the path of righteousness.  Keeping the commandments.

 

Some commandments might seem harder.

 

We might find ourselves asking, “Do we really need to obey God’s commandments.”

 

President Uchtdorf’s response:  I think God knows something we don’t.

 

Does it make sense to embrace and follow His commandments, even the ones that are hard?

 

Heavenly Father is constantly raining blessings on us.

 

It is sin that, like an umbrella, blocks these blessings to us.

 

We need to accept that the commandments of God aren’t just a long list of good ideas.

 

They aren’t life hacks from an internet blog.

 

They are divine counsel based on eternal truths.

 

The choice is yours.

 

To qualify for these glorious blessings you must humble yourself.

 

It is very important to attend our Sunday meetings, but Heavenly Father is more considered about our faith than Sacrament Meeting statistics.

 

Visiting teachers need to be faithful in making their monthly visits.

 

Whether you are 8 or 108, you are loved.  You are dear to your Heavenly parents.

 

God loves you this very day and always.

 

He knows everything about you.  He sees you clearly and see you as you really are and loves you today and always.

 

Do you think He cares how many followers you have on pinterest and twitter?

 

Trust in the saving power of Jesus Christ.  Keep His laws and commandments.

 

Live the gospel joyful.

 

You will discover your best self. Your real self. What it means to be a daughter of God.
