Craig C. Christensen - Priesthood Session

President Monson advises us to seek and develop and strengthen our testimony.

Does each of us know for ourselves that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true?

Are our testimonies truly our own?

If you do not have a testimony, do that which is necessary to obtain one.

There is nothing more important than to strengthen our own testimonies.

A testimony is a sacred gift from God that comes to us through the power of the Holy Ghost.

A testimony is like a tree. It passes through different stages of growth and development.

Like a tree is starts with a seed.  It develops over time with proper nourishment.

If we ignore or neglect the early promptings, our feelings will fade and our testimonies will diminish.

Our testimonies will grow the same way a tree grows.  Gradually and according to our constant care.

Now is the time to learn or reaffirm that the gospel is true.
