Does each of us know for ourselves that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true? Are our testimonies truly our own? If you do not have a testimony, do that which is necessary to obtain one. There is nothing more important than to strengthen our own testimonies. A testimony is a sacred gift from God that comes to us through the power of the Holy Ghost. A testimony is like a tree. It passes through different stages of growth and development. Like a tree is starts with a seed. It develops over time with proper nourishment. If we ignore or neglect the early promptings, our feelings will fade and our testimonies will diminish. Our testimonies will grow the same way a tree grows.
