skalenfehl Posted December 23, 2014 Report Posted December 23, 2014 Thought I'd share a little personal research. In the year 1805, Winter Solstice occurred on December 22-the longest night of the year. The next day, the 23rd, when Joseph Smith was born, marked the time on our calendar when the days grew longer, triumphing over night, and light prevailed over darkness. http://www.neoprogrammics.com/sun/Northern_Winter_Dates_and_Times.html Suzie and Just_A_Guy 2 Quote
