How about an Avocado Burger? mmmmmmmmmmm

Do you stuff the burger with avocado, or slice(mash) avocado on top like adding tomatoes, lettuce, etc?

I like stuffing hamburgers with things, like crumbled seasoned Feta Cheese, lightly sauteed mushrooms and bermuda onions. Pat out some hamburger, you want it somewhat thin. Then add your stuffing of choice, then you place another hamburger pattie, patted out somewhat thin on top. You want the bottom hamburger portion a bit bigger around than the top. When you add the top you will bring the excess amount of the bottom burger up and seal the two burgers together.

Grill or fry. If you fry, be sure to drain the fat off if needed. These are great on a bun with your favorite dressing, condiment(s), lettuce or fresh spinach or even sprouts!

Some stuffing suggestions: salad shrimp & green onions. Cheddar cheese and bacon bits. Sprouts, green onions, diced tomatoes, feta cheese. Horseradish Havarati cheese, chopped bermuda onions (raw, not sauteed). Dill pickle relish, sliced yellow onions, a dab of ketsup, & mustard. Just to name a few. Posted Image
