Blackmarch Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm - I am wondering. How can we conclude that a spirit cannot crack their knuckles? What is the difference from thinking something and actually doing it? Did not Jesus say to look upon someone and lust is the commission of adultery in one's heart? interesting question.Well if our spirits are in the likeness of a perfect body, then to actually be able to do so in a physical sense i'd highly doubt... but it would be possible that they could imitate the action and figure out a way to cause the sound to occur I suppose as spirits have interacted with mortals using sound and light, and on rare occasion some form of matter manipulation. as whether or not they could replicate the sensations for themselves I'm more in between doubtful and unsure.as for the last statement, the difference is how deep the pit you've dug for yourself (that and physically doing something like adultery involves more than just you).I cannot see a judgement metted out to someone who desired to do something but did not do it being exactly the same fore someone who not only desired it but also acted on it additionally to desiring it, as being just.(i'm not saying that one should get off free, just that the judgement cannot be exactly the same for both) Quote
