I agree things defineately got out of hand and it is good to see a stop to the personal attacks. It's unfortunate his was the last post remaining.

While they may have been meant as Snow's way of making a point it was still extreme and hurtful. Hopefully he will never serve on any crisis management teams :) Then again maybe thats why they are needed :) I can't fully comprehend what he was hoping to accomplish . Even if he was right he made her a "victim" all over again and prooved her point of how ridiculous people can act when you question the status quo

I just wish people would think before they attack!!! There are people behind these computer screens!!! People with feelings and what El felt was traumitizing to her may not have been for someone else...but who has the right to diminish and un-validate her pain? NOBODY!!!!!

I find his bluntness occasionally refreshing (although a suggestion to him would be: "Posting the same opinion multiple times in a thread usually will not produce a different response to it." And I have observed the same behavior in other posters. )

Agreed. She came to let go of it. Instead of finding support and direction she was victimized all over.

Kind of like a rape victim through the judicial system and being blamed it was all their fault. If they didn't do this or hadn't done that it wouldn't have happened. The fact is that it did it was upsetting and a crime did occur. No need to attack all over again.

This discussion put an image into my mind. Imagine the story of the good samaritan. What would have happened if he started kicking the man while he was down rather than bandaging him up and taking him to recieve care? Maybe he shouldn't have been on the road. Maybe he should have been prepared. Now he needs help. Not condemnation.

I have had a few people contact me as they were concerned I might be upset. I want to say that I am fine, and that I did not take anything that was said about me personal. I am no longer that 19-year-old girl, I can stand up for myself today, and I am confident that I did so.

No, I'm sure I'LL be the one going before Snow does...I just wish he would check his spiteful attitude. Bluntness has it's place...but mean spirited post are just childish. He is not the only one!!! But he is a MOD and there is a degree of responsibility that comes with that....at least I would hope!!! After all....isn't that the reason FOR the mods? To keep people from engaging in the very behaviour that I am quite frankly offended by in Snow.

I know, El...it is not just you...I have been on the receiving end of his sharp and mean tongue and I have seen others and quite frankly...I am appalled that he is allowed to continue while others such as yourself can be banned without even a warning!!!!!

I'm beating a dead horse, probably...but this is how I feel and I am expressing it!!!!
