I have found that I REALLY enjoy my teenagers. They bring much into my life. Laughter, joy, insight. They surprise me greatly with their minds and logic quite often. Not to say we don't have our struggles on different issues but I think those struggles and issues bring us closer together when we can come to a resolution.

My daughter is "iiinnnn llllluuuuuuvvvvv" and will barely talk to me any more. Except, of course, when there's a huge spider in her room and she's literally hysterically terrified, so I have to go and catch it so she can calm down. (She was bitten by a black widow, and was already afraid of them.) Then she deigns to talk to me for the night.

I am still so crazy about her that my whole body aches with love whenever I see her.
