Where was your mission call to?

I thought this would be a fun thread to see where everyone was called to for their mission and what they think of the area. I was called to Las Vegas. I was surprised at how many Mormons there are, especially in Henderson, Nevada.

Ya he's a faithful member. Or at least was. Not sure how active he is now.

Brussels, Belgium.  I served in Molenbeek, Roubaix, Calais, and a number of other notorious European Islamist hotspots that have recently been in the news.

I was called to serve in the Great Northwestern States Mission of Washington, Oregon and Idaho.  One area that I served in (Tri Cities in Washington) is now itself a mission which makes a letter I wrote to the Mission President prophetic in nature when I said that the work there would require more missionaries. I also served in Boise Idaho, Moscow Idaho, Bend Oregon, North Bend Oregon, Seattle and Tacoma.  At least these were the areas I was called specifically to teach – there were other areas I was not specifically called to teach where my companion taught and baptized – but that is another story.
