I am wondering if my daughter will be allowed in the baptismal font with her 2 week old dye job? It's purple and magenta and isn't bleeding much at all  now but am worried in the font water with the white clothes... any ideas???  :(

@BunnyMummy I used to work at the temple so..suggest put a white face cloth over the drain next time she takes a shower. Check the cloth for purple after the shower. If all is well. Call the temple, not on Saturday or evening but when a session is scheduled. Tuesday or Wednesday are good days. Ask to talk to Temple President. (If they offer you the Temple Matron, I would offer to call back later as Matrons in my experience are very strict. ) Explain the situation to the Pres and tell him that you have checked for color runoff. Be apologetic, don’t be defensive, stick to the facts. If you are not accompanying your daughter to the temple, send her with a note. Give the time and date of your conversation with the Pres.

Good luck! 😊

We have had that problem in the Phoenix temple.  I know for awhile they were asking youth not to do baptisms with died hair as it was getting on towels, clothes and it was in the water so everyone and everything was changing colors.  - Another option is that she just does confirmations.

My 11 year old died her tips pink - she turns 12 in 7 weeks.  I told her to enjoy it while it lasted as it was a no no once she turned 12 because of the temple.  Luckily she understands and the pink is almost gone now with her knowing it's not coming back - she  has been okay with it,   - Good luck!
