Still_Small_Voice Posted May 19, 2020 Report Share Posted May 19, 2020 Anika Reed -- USA TODAY -- May 18th 2020 Ken Osmond, best known as Eddie Haskell on TV's "Leave It to Beaver," has died at 76, USA TODAY has confirmed. Osmond's representative Bonnie Vent provided a statement from the actor's son Eric: "He was an incredibly kind and wonderful father. He had his family gathered around him when he passed. He was loved and will be very missed." Osmond became well known for his role as troublemaker Eddie Haskell on the family comedy, playing the character from 1957 to 1963. Eddie was Wallace "Wally" Cleaver's mischievous friend who was always up to no good, and audiences could count on him to dream up a scheme. Osmond reprised his role in the 1983 TV movie "Still the Beaver," as well as the 1980s TV reboot "The New Leave It to Beaver" and the 1997 movie "Leave It to Beaver."
