The Book Of Abraham Speaks About The Story Of Creation.

When Compared To The Book Of Genesis Story Of Creation, Why Does Is Not State That The Gods Created In The Book Of Genesis If The Book Of Abraham Is Correct.

If Abraham's version Is Correct Then surely somethings amiss with the book of genesis, And In Every mention of a creation story.

You Can Not Claim That One Thing Is Correct Compared To The Other, It Is Missleading To Have Two Stories Of Creation That Differ On Who Created. Did God Create Of The Meaning Of Gods Create. There Is A Difference Between One Creating And Two Creating.

So In That respect The Book Of Genesis Is Not Correct And Things Were Added And Taken Out. Thus Why Is It That The Prophet Has Not Told You About This. These Question Are Always Asked And Its Only The Dead Sea Scrolls That Tell Us That The Translated Version Through The Roman Empire Is Not Correct And Is Missleading. Espesially If You Teach From It.

The Dead Sea Scrolls State That The Book Of Abraham Is Correct, The Dead Sea Scrolls Take About The Gods Creating. That Is The Herbew Version. So If The Book Of Genesis Has Been Tampered With And The Word Have Been taken And Added, Is There A Problem With The Old Testiment. One Says One Thing And the Other Says The Opposite.

The Book Of Abraham Stated That More Than 1 God Created.

Genesis actually has two versions of the Creation (chapter 1 and chapter 2). Both have major differences, including when man is created (before or after the animals). Which one is correct?

The Book of Abraham describes the premortal divine council planning the creation of the earth. Everything is created spiritually before it is physically created in LDS belief. Early Jewish teachings suggest this is true, as the early Hebrews believed in a divine council that planned the Creation.

BTW, Genesis 1:26 gives a hint: "let US make man in OUR image." God was discussing this with the divine council, which explains the "us" and "our" references.

I've read the Dead Sea Scrolls version of the Bible. Just where do you get that Genesis is incorrect, as the two of them are closely similar?

The problem with Genesis comes from its latest authors, or where we got the traditions. The Documentary Hypothesis suggests that we get different versions of the Creation combined by early authors (post-Moses), that scholars call the Yahwist (J), Elohist (E), Priest group (P), Deuteronomists (D), and Redactor ®. Each put their own twists in, and eventually the differing sets of writings were combined, most likely by the Redactor (Esra) after the Diaspora. But these same influences are found in the DSS' version of Genesis, so your claim that the DSS supports the Book of Abraham is a bit premature.

The various copies of the Hebrew Genesis, including the DSS, all basically state that the Elohim ('LHM) created the earth. The term can mean Gods or it can be the name of the chief God, El Elyon (God Almighty).
