  1. I don't ever remember this being done in a general conference (I'm not saying it hasn't but I don't remember). I thought it was very interesting that it was done by groups. It helped give a clear picture of everyone in each quorum or group and you knew if they were raising their hands or not. When its just everyone together it is easy for some people to just not raise their hands and you might not notice. I've been in the primary for a few years now and I was hoping he would ask everyone in primary to stand. It would have been impressive to see all the children under 11 raise their hands.
  2. Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I did actually save some of my Lego bricks from when I lived with my parents and those are now with the Lego bricks I bought since we started collecting/buying them about 3 years ago. Before that I didn't really get into Lego bricks because I didn't seem to have the money and of course Sharleen would have been 4 and I still wasn't out of the mentality that she was done putting things in her mouth (I'm slow that way sometimes).
  3. My name is Robert. I live in Woodbridge, Virginia with my 4 children. Willem is 12, Adonis is almost 10, Liem is 8 and a half, and Sharleen is 7. Sharleen is the only girl in the house. I enjoy camping with my children and we usually go at least once a year sometimes more. I am hoping to go more than once this year and planning our first trip for sometime in May. My children and I enjoy building things with Lego bricks and then playing with what we build. Right now the living room contains our Lego city which has a monorail, houses, hospital, fast food restaurant, dance/concert hall, police/fire station, movie theatre, castle, church, and grocery store. I also enjoy playing chess. I look forward to making new friends here.
