  1. Daily I pray for the patience and the strength to get Jordan (14 +) through his teens and on his Mission. It is the magical goal at the end of a long dark tunnel...LOL He used to be such a joy, then he transformed... into an argumentative, sullen, non-motivated entity! But every now and then I see a glimmer of the "real" Jordan...and I continue to pray...that we both will make it through the next four years!
  2. Hi!, Breezy...I wondered if you were the same "Breezy" from LDSFriends. MorningStar...Tough Grits and my style are quite different. LOL Just remember that I am a TRUE grits, born and raised; Tough is a transplant!!! :) AND, she talks a lot more than I do.
  3. I read this book in my early 20's. It is worth reading and re-reading.
  4. I like the layered look, and it happens to be "in". The deep V fashion is easily remedied by my layering a cami under. I have a cami in every color, so I am 'covered' no matter how low the neck plunges...LOL I love wearing heels, so wearing panty hose just goes with them, for me. Church is always cold, so I appreciate having the extra layer. Sunday is the only day I "dress-up" so it is fun. I haven't found dressing modestly to be a problem...there is so much out there to choose from. It is interesting, though, to see how others address the issue. ~~~Daune
  5. I am thankful every day that I have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I am blessed to have a large, close, and loving family. I do not want for food, for shelter, for clothing. I am loved, and I love in return. I am blessed...
  6. I do not read my horoscope every day, or every week for that matter, but I do occasionally enjoy seeing what it says. However, I by no means put any credence into what it says. I think one reads into it what they want to...?
  7. I was fortunate to have been "born Mormon". However, I did not date nor marry Mormon. I was inactive for about thirty years. But because of my upbringing, I did not abandon the standards that had been taught by my parents and by the Church. One day I had an overwhelming knowledge that I needed to return to the Gospel. That I needed it in my life. I looked up the address of the Church in my area, and one afternoon I drove around until I found it. That next Sunday, I went to Church. There were no other cars there. I waited half an hour...no one showed up. During the week I called the Church and found out that the Sunday I chose to return was Stake Conference...in the next city. I tried again the next Sunday...LOL
