SO now we see your point. You think JS was a false prophet. Why do you believe this? And TR2 "Can I get to the good heaven without believing in JS as prophet" I think that was the whole big point of this entire topic. Way to keep up there big guy!

Not to sound harsh and I mean no animosity by this....but, will that be your reply at the veil? "I didn't want the world to be boring" ?? "Thats why I didn't believe in your doctrine sent to me from heaven by your servants."

You are so busy stairing at that tree in front of you that you are not seeing the forest that you are standing in the middle of. By following the prophets (namely JS) you are only following JC because JS is ordained by JC to give us JC's law. So from your narrow point of view one could go back in time and have the same argument about Moses and the 10 commandments. Thats like the old Jews saying, "We won't enter the covenant because we have to go through Moses and the commandments he gave us to get to Heaven...". Do you see? Do you see how Moses and JS play very simular roles and how they do NOT negate the "Only through the Son" doctrine? How can I make this anymore clear?

Well my dear sweet. During my interview I was asked if I believe if JS was a prophet and I said "Does it matter? I believe what he taught because I have prayed and recieved the answer from the holy ghost." I was not turned away obviously. What do you have to say now?

Hmmm. Well, I do believe in JS as a prophet. HOWEVER only in the same way that I believe that Elijah or Abraham was a prophet. In the grand scheme of things you do and you don't have to believe that they were prophets. No I take that back. I don't think you must believe that someone was a prophet. Only the teachings from God through them is what you MUST believe and act upon and yes "Through Christ" to get to heaven. Am I making sence or does this only compute to my mind? :)

Jesus was NOT the ONLY son of God. He was and is the ONLY BEGOTTEN son of God. There is a HUGE difference in that. Research it. And yes there is only one God. And none shall come before (that we worship) and none will come after (that we will worship). But as far as there being other gods (little g) there are! How else could it be if we are all His children? What else could a child of a god be other than a "god in embryo"? And if we are ALL His children then it only makes sense that J and S are brothers and so are you and me and snow and starsky and Rodney and LT and etc....... And lastly, Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. And the LDS church is the church of the first born. This is Christ's church. So yes "Mormonisim" is the way to the Father because this is His Only Begotten's Church. How do I know this? Because I have done as the book of James has said to do. I have lacked wisdom and I have asked for the answer. I have prayed and I have been answered. I know this church is the true church. It is the perfect church, with imperfect members. <---and thats why we work to perfect the saints.

I enjoy reading discussions and topics that would never have occured to me otherwise. Did you ever have a testamony that the church is true? If so why do you think God would tell you differently now? Also, I am curious why you refere to a "false pantheon of Gods"? I myself only follow one God. I've not heard ever that we are to follow any other god. Unless you understand that Jesus is a god but that is a different topic. I hope that nobody on this board trys to get you to come back to the church. After all the prodigal son was not fetched...he was patiently waited for to return. Good luck.

I would like to interject that spirit IS matter. How could it not be? Spirit is obvously made out of something. It is just a "matter" that we don't understand. After all light is matter. It even has mass. But you can not see light unless it has something to reflect off of. Perhaps we could see spirits if we knew what was required as a median? Mabey thats why sometimes people see "ghosts"? Perhaps there was something not understood by us that reacted with the spirit's matter and made it visible to the naked (mortal) eye? Things that make you go "hmmmm?".

I think the best way to try and understand the Lord and His creations and our theorys on this subject is to employ the "KISS" method. Keep It Simple Stupid B)
