I have a related question. I ordered a BOM from mormon.org but they sent me the bible instead. Is this normal? I honestly cannot have mormon missionarys at my home at this point in my life. I have the online version on my ipod but I would like a paper version as well. Right now I have a checked out version from my uni library but I cant really mark it or anything.

A book that my MIL gave me was Better Homes and Gardens Making a Home, Housekeeping for Real Life. This has a lot of organizing tips. Also an easy cookbook was one called the 3,4,5 ingredient cookbook.

I just want to say you already know it is true. You didn't stumble on this site you found it created a profile and then posted a question. You want other people to give you more proof because you don't trust yourself on this because maybe you feel like you are going into a world of unknown that other ppl may criticize you for. This is how I feel. It is faith and you can't prove faith. As far as proof of BOM is concerned I looked at Jefflindsay.com and it showed a lot to me. All religions have made predictions that have been false. This is because men are imperfect and may interpret things incorrectly. I used to ask questions like this and then I just knew. I started the BOM, prayed like a mad women and now I know. This is all IMO though.

I was going to vote NO on prop 8 until I saw the LDS message about the prop. I wasn't even interested in the church at that time. It made me vote yes.

His family is very baptist and they have read a lot of anti-LDS literature. I also had read anti-lds literature but I don't take it serious. When I was a JW I read so much anti-JW literature and 90% is wrong and the other 10% is misrepresented. I feel with all religions it is faith it isn't supposed to be logical. I am planning on going to a service this sunday or next. Thanks for the heads-up.

No. I am not sure. Do you think it is the wise thing to do? I should let the Lord take care of this, you are right. I will just pray and read. I just feel like I am hiding something.

I think I am going to casually bring up the book of Mormon tonight. Gauge the reaction ya know?

Hello! My name is Jasmin. I am not LDS but I am very interested. Every member of the LDS church has always been so nice and recently it seems I have been almost obsessed with learning things about the church. I am writing a paper abour Navuoo for my history class and I started researching and it is hard to stop. It is so weird. Normally when I am interested in a church I just go to the church and check it out. The only problem with this is that my husband is very anti-lds. His family is too. I feel like I can't do it alone that I have to respect him and his decisions. Another frustrating thing is that he claims to be religious but he never goes to church. I have just started reading the book of Mormon today and only a few chapters because I have a lot of homework. Before I started reading I prayed and I prayed after so that the father would guide me. Hopefully he will show me the truth. Thanks for reading. :)
