  1. Well, my dear sister Pam; Look at D&C 20 the whole truth, and also look at sec 46, 76 "and the Elder or Priest shall administer; Read the whole thing. Now see if you can look over your history of the church and find that this was the way it was in the beginning and that to have Decons do it is a new way, not the old way. For good or bad it was changed.

In your very colorful words, I agree with you. Great thought. Our history of the church in this despensation has in some respects gone off on their own to offten. Changing the Everlasting Covenant etc. as Isaiah has told us. We have gone off the deep end by sending our kids to learn the Mahan principals, (see Moses 5) and I also belive that our life should follow D&C 26.
  3. Just some thoughts I have had on this issue. One the cross has some symbology to it from the Hebrew. But first let me say, the cross is the most cruel way to die, so in some respects it is like wearing a shot gun around your neck or the some other idtem that we have used to kill people, leathal injection, cut off someones head etc. However, the cross is a symbol of a lot of Hebrew thought of the Olive Tree or the Tree of life, somewhat the Christmas Tree. There is a lot to go into but let me just say, the Crosses symbology is fone of Justice and Mercy... Rember the two convicted fellows who hung with our Savior. One on the right and one on the left. One convict said,,,, save yourself from this death and us too. The other said we deserve this for what we did, but he is innocent. Remember me. our savior said this day shall you be with me in paradise. OK what this is all about in Hebrew Tree of Life is that on the one hand is Justice and the Other is Mercy. Ther is a lot more to it.
  4. Yes, it has been done just like it says. Also, the priest is to administer to each person. That is he is to hand the broken bread to each person and the person hands it back to him. The person next to you does not hand it to you. What if the person next to you does not partake. You can't give an ordinance that you have not taken part of. Can't give what you dont have or hold. Next is the way we treat the unused bread and water. To toss it in the garbage to me is wrong. Way wrong. We need to drink all the water and eat all the bread. I hate it when these decons who are not supposed to pass the sacrament just toss the unused into the garbage. Anyway that is the way it used to be. How do I Know this... My old dead Grandfather told me some 50 years ago. It is done the way it is most expediant.
