With only 7 of 43 in the first half. 7!? Wow. 110-91 Indianapolis. What a horrible game tonight. It was another road game and it was back to back but still I'm shaking my head with a sad face on.

in tonights game Kobe replaced MJ for the third most points in NBA history. We took this one 100-94 over the Wolves. This our third in a row and we play again tomorrow night in Indi. We need to continue winning. We are 13.5 back.

I agree that he is great and in the top in history for sure. Yes that is hard to loose to them this season based on how they've played so far. It is a tough loss and it is important to look at the come back in that game for things that were done well. It was a tough game and you can't ignore Mello. He is a tough player.

I just watched Kobe's rant from practice with a balizzion bleeps because of his foul language. I have zero respect for that. Be a man, can thing but clean up the language and show some respect. Respect for other players, the media and yourself.

Lakers vs Spurs tonight. Lin played well. Hill had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Young with 29 points while Kobe scored 22 and in spite of a poor fourth (like we too often do) we walked away with a 112-110 win in OT in San Antone

From Lakers.com Kobe 30 Behind Third All-TimeWhen Kobe Bryant entered the NBA as a rookie in 1996, he was already in a 24,489-point hole behind Michael Jordan. But 18 years later, Bryant now sits just 30 points behind Jordan for third on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.Jordan added 7,803 more points before retiring for the third and final time, giving him a 32,292-point total. But Bryant, who has 32,262, is now within striking distance of Jordan’s spot behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387) and Karl Malone (36,928). Entering Friday’s contest against the San Antonio Spurs, Bryant is second among all players this season with 25.5 points per game. He has also surpassed 30 points in six of his 22 games this year. The 16-time all-star scored a season-low nine points against San Antonio on Nov. 14. If he does not pass Jordan against the Spurs, he will have another shot on Sunday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves.

We had a come from behind 98-95 victory over the Kings last night. I'll take it. I guess we played strong D to come back.

Hello Mormongator, Sorry for the delay. I was in LA for 10 days and when I returned I could not log in. My boys dropped the next 3 games in a continued show of ineptness. We are playing Sacramento tonight. It is getting close to the end and my team is losing. We'll see how it turns out.

Agreed. That is sad MG ==== 99-93 Memphis

Down went another Laker. "Xavier Henry suffered an injury to his left Achilles tenon in Monday’s practice. An MRI revealed a ruptured left Achilles tendon." from Lakers.com

Meteorites: I wonder how to star hunting meteorites? I wonder how much they are worth and what to do with them once I find one? I wonder if they need to be cut to see the beauty? I wonder how to figure out what metals are in each one? I wonder how to get my kids into this

Bummer news. I never had an off day there. It was always great. :)

Another Lakers loss 101-94 Nuggets. Hill had another double double with 14 rebounds and 11 points, Lin had 17 points and 5 assists and Kobe dropped 27. Wesley Johnson had 12 boards.

That was a drastic turn around last game from having a strong lead to losing it. That coach has never had a losing record he said. We'll see how things turn out. I expect them to improve. We'll see

What part are you talking about, LBJs anger and cussing at his team or being "a fragile team" or something else? They are better than I thought they'd be, good players on that squad.

In short, we got KILLED tonight 140-106 Mavs

Rondo is awesome. I've always like him (even though he is on the wrong teams) I wanted Love too but nope, it didn't happen. Yes but DeRozen is a dirty player. He put his foot under Kobe to twist his ankle on purpose. I think they will be comparable when they start to click. It is somewhat of a competition skills/big dog thing jealousy issue perhaps. When it comes to winning I think they will figure "it's time to do what it takes to win. They are pretty tough players in the East. Boozer was not my favorite player before but I know he can be tough. He has been getting to the ball and playing like a good all around player as evidenced by his two double-doubles. I hope he keeps doing it.

Eat at "The Pie" in SLC. THE BEST PIZZA imo

MormonGator your boys are right there. At least your team ar only .17 behind the top 8 in the East as of today while mine are only above OKC in the West.

Watching my boys struggle this hard is no fun to watch. Celtics have the most championships so you can sit with that feeling. IMO my boys are going to be down for a long time but they are still my team. ===== Lakers at Mavericks: 10 Things to Know (Game 13)from here: http://www.nba.com/lakers/141121_10things Here is what you need to know before the Lakers take on the Dallas Mavericks. 1) The Lakers starting frontcourt — Carlos Boozer and Jordan Hill — has stepped up in the team’s past two games, as both players recorded double-doubles in each contest. The pair combined to score 66 points and grab 43 rebounds in L.A.’s back-to-back against Atlanta and Houston. 2) The Lakers are Jeremy Lin’s fourth team in his five-year career, but he got his start with the Mavericks, though he never played for them. In five games off the bench for Dallas’ 2010 Summer League team, Lin shot a team-best 54.5 percent to average 9.8 points per contest, leading to a rookie contract with Golden State. 3) The Lakers expect Wayne Ellington, who missed the last six games following the death of his father, to be available off the bench against the Mavericks. Ellington played for Dallas last year and averaged 3.2 points in 8.7 minutes. 4) Last season, the Mavericks swept the Lakers for the first time in franchise history. Dallas comfortably won each game by at least 12 points for an average score of 113-99. 5) Next to only Kobe Bryant (32,030), Dirk Nowitzki (27,015) has scored more career points than anybody currently in the league. Hailing from Würzbug, Germany, Nowitzki is ninth all-time and first among foreign-born players in scoring. He also leads all active players in career offensive win shares (133.0). 6) Backup power forward Brandan Wright leads the NBA by shooting 76.1 percent from the field. The Lakers received a personal taste of that efficiency on April 4 last season, as Wright scored 23 points on a 10-for-10 clip to become the first player in Mavericks history to shoot perfectly on double-digit attempts. 7) Dallas also has the league’s third-most efficient scorer, Tyson Chandler, who is shooting 69.2 percent, placing him just ahead of fourth-place Ed Davis (62.7). Chandler also leads all active players in career field goal percentage (58.6), and trails only Artis Gilmore (59.9) for best all-time. 8) Backup guard Devin Harris (right leg soreness) is questionable against the Lakers, which could signal some turbulence for Dallas since he leads the team in assists (4.4) and steals (1.3). Harris also has an NBA-best 6.9 assist-to-turnover ratio. 9) The Mavericks enjoy one of the best home-court advantages in the league. They have an NBA-best 520-game sellout streak dating back to Dec. 15, 2001. Since moving to the American Airlines Center for the 2001-02 season, Dallas is 399-132 (.751) at home. 10) The Mavericks lead the league with 108.9 points per game, and they have done so by spreading the ball around. Dallas does not have any players among the NBA’s top 15 scorers, but it does have five Mavericks who are averaging double figures: Monta Ellis (19.7), Nowitzski (19.1), Chandler Parsons (14.0), Chandler (10.9) and Wright (10.1).
