So, what's this bias you have against male musicians in skirts all about anyway?
-
Good luck to you. Thanks for your service. Good decision.

Obligatory smilie? Yeah, you know, like this --------> or this ------> or this ----> It helps those who don't know that you are joking, especially when it isn't obvious.
-
Not wanting to speak for PD, but I think he forgot to add the obligatory smilie for the benefit of those who don't know better.

A little slow on the uptake aren't we? I mean, you've been spouting garbage for the last three pages and now you want to go back and rehash every word that's already been said on the first page? Besides which, you have this aberration that makes you unable to properly interpret the written word. First of all, the Republicans didn't parade any of Kerry's former comrades around, they did that themselves, much like Moveon.org does. And just because they weren't on the same boat as he was doesn't mean they didn't know him or his actions. You don't know what he did, either, unless you were there too. Nowhere in my post did I state that Kerry didn't earn his medals, he probably did meet the minimum specs to get each one of them, although I haven't bothered to study each circumstance. However, to suggest that every medal given out by the military is unequivocally and absolutely awarded only in circumstances where there is absolutely no doubt that the recipient acted in a totally honorable way is wrong. Kerry himself has intimated that he may have participated in war crimes. And throwing away your medals is surely no way to show the world that you earned them. My point, which you seem to have overlooked, was that Kerry bases his campaign on his military record, thus inviting the very scrutiny that bit him on the butt. It's his fault that his skeletons were found when he opened the door and asked us to look at them. I won't even discuss Whitewater, it has no bearing on this case, but I wouldn't be so fervent in my defense of the Clintons if I were you. They are far from the lily-white that you make them out to be. I will somewhat agree with you on the Fox network, they do try to give balance to the left-leanings that the other networks don't do, but I wouldn't tally the score 1-1, I would call it more like 4-1 since NBC, ABC, and CNN all follow the same lines that CBS does. And the only reason liberals won't deny CBS's bias is that CBS has admitted it openly, they still deny that the other networks do the same things.

funny enough for what? To work on the Kerry campaign? Probably.
-
No, I meant JLHyde. His posts just crack me up.
-
Well, I'll admit that JLHyde's posts make me laugh so hard that I nearly come to tears. That dude's got ideas that no sane person would ever come up with.

Well, I'm convinced now. Saddam was born a poor black child in the hills of Mississippi. Or was that Navin Johnson? I forget. But anyway, there is no proof that he ever did anything wrong, all his rivals in Iraq somehow ended up dead, but that doesn't concern anyone. Scud missiles? Hey, if you can't drive one over to my house, then it means that you were lying about their existence. Chemical weapons? I don't personally know any of those supposed Kurds (are they even a real tribe?) who died from them, so that must be made up too. And all those reports of WMD components and pieces of manufacturing facilities being found in nearby bordering areas of Syria and Jordan? Lies, all of them. Saddam had no money, if he did, then they wouldn't have found him hiding out in a hole. If he had money, he would have been living at the Baghdad Marriott, not on some run-down farm in a hole. Or maybe he hasn't even been caught, I haven't seen him with my own eyes other than what they show on TV, and we all know how they can manipulate TV to show whatever they want. Yup, it's all just a big scam perpetrated on the American public, all orchestrated to get GWB reelected. I say we all vote for Kerry and maybe we can all experience the trick that happened on the TV show Dallas, we can all wake up one day and find out that the last 4 years never really happened, they were just a dream. Because we all know how Kerry will handle Iraq, right? Except if the last 4 years never happened, Al Gore would be president and we would have been spending the last 4 years raising our taxes so we could find more ways to appease the terrorists. And those towers in New York? We didn't need those anyway, they were just a symbol of how capitalistic we had been and we have since seen the light and are embracing the idea that all we have to do is give everything away to our enemies and convert to Islam and then they will stop attacking us, and we will all be brothers with no animosities, just like Iran and Iraq in the 1980's.
-
<span style=\'font-family:Courier\'>Perhaps those conflicts might have been less bloody if they had had a more personal sense of killing other human beings. Trying to justify Kerry's (note the correct spelling Cal ) actions are we? Just because Kerry allegedly shot a boy in the back, doesn't mean he will be a better wartime president.

What's that old saying? "With God, anything is possible". You just need to stop limiting yourself with your closed-mindedness. If you don't believe in cosmic superglue, you will never be sealed to the rest of us.

All I can say is LOLOLOLOLOL

Apparently not.... he chose not to attend many of those intelligence briefings. The information given during those meetings must have been irrelevant to him, he could always get his opinion by licking his finger and seeing which way the wind blows.

Yes, but my misimpression of his misspelling was closer than his misspelling of the real guy. All I did was lose a letter, not miscomprehend how the real guy's name is spelled. He probably couldn't find his guy's name on a ballot, if he is even old enough to vote.

Oh, sorry, I didn't know there was a rule allowing only anti's to be sarcastic here. Can you please refer me to the exact source of that rule so we can all read it?
-
Maybe you should ask your friend Kary what his pal John Kerry would have done. Oh, yeah, John Kerry supported the removal of Saddam. And then he didn't. And then he did. And then he didn't. And then he did, but he says he would have done it surgically, like Bill Clinton when he went after Osama bin Laden. Now that operation worked wonderfully. Or maybe he wouldn't have, no one knows because he keeps changing his mind on what he would have done. Or does he really have a mind of his own? At least his psycho wife can make a decision, however wrong, and stick with it.

Yes, that is exactly what it means, we will all be super-glued to each other after we die. and then our collective inner lights will shine so bright and hot that we will become as bright as a star. This is how our sun was formed, silly. The stars are really just good people glued together for eternity, and this is how the universe works. Don't you want to be a good boy so you can become a part of our new star? Why do you think astronauts are so afraid to fly into the sun? They just aren't righteous enough to live there. That and the fact that they don't have the exact formula for the sealing super-glue. Heck, they can't even glue heat shields tight enough onto the space shuttle to get back to earth every time. Maybe they should all convert and go to the temple so they can get the right formula.

Who is this Kary guy you keep talking about? We are talking about John Kerry in this context, not some other guy named Kary. The one we are talking about shot a kid in the back as he ran away, then he came home and told everyone who would listen that his comrades were all war criminals. And the only reason anyone is talking about this is that he is basing his campaign on his military record. He INVITED the scrutiny when he turned the spotlight on his own military record. Are we to only look at the parts he wants us to see? And just when will Kerry ask the Pentagon to release ALL of his military records, not just the selected ones he chooses to show? GWB has ordered them Pentagon to show all they have on him, why can't Kerry do the same?
-
Quite. He isn't. Why? Because he dosn't have one. Well, for a man without a record, the Demoncraps sure seem to be trying to beat him up for nothing then, aren't they? Were you even alive during that time? Do you have any background in what was happening in America at the time? As far as that goes, the only reason Kerry volunteered for swift boats was because he thought they would see no action, either. It wasn't until after he enlisted that swift boats were ordered closer to the war. Most people of draftable age during that time did what they could to ensure their safety from combat duty. Two of my brothers volunteered to avoid being drafted as ground-pounders. My mother prayed every day that my brothers would not be assigned to combat duty there. Does that make her or them as bad as Bush or Kerry? It amazes me that the same people who are upset at GWB for enlisting in the Texas ANG with the charge that he did so to avoid action are willing defend Bill Clinton for his draft-dodging tactics. Demos have no moral high ground when it comes to avoiding combat action in Viet Nam. By the way, you might be interested to know that there are Territorial Army SAS units, and they do see active service on covert missions. There is also a Royal Marine version of the TA, I believe they have SBS units, too.

Bishops are not perfect, just because he cusses once in a while doesn't make him the wrong guy for the job. We all have weaknesses, and if his worst thing is that he cusses like J. Golden Kimball, he's probably a pretty good guy. The best bishop I ever had cussed sometimes. Of course, he raised livestock, and that can make anyone cuss.

I always figured that the reception was where all the hijinks was to occur, the temple is too sacred a place for that other stuff. BTW, I don't think Jesus turned the water to wine solely so more people could get fall-down drunk at a party.

I remember seeing "World's Strongest Man" and "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" in the theater. I guess that dates me a lot.

None of you have ever seen Escape From New York have you?
