prison chaplin- I am aware that humanity is evil at heart. However, liberty is not an ideal. People should be free to do what they want- so long as what they do does not encroche on the liberty of others. For example- murder is not an issue of morality but liberty- killing an innocent someone is a violation of liberty. I think drugs should be leagalised, and i think that the punishment for crimes while under the influence should be tripled. PEople should be free to do what they want with their own bodies- and severe concesquences for letting it affect others will go along way to keep it from being a problem. Morality is something that no one has the right to impose. The only morality that is no relitive is that which is imposed by God- but even then its unchristian to hold non-believers accountable to christian morality. Example- voteing to ban gay marrige is both unamerican and unchristian. Its a violation of the 5th amendment and goes agaisnt what God wants from christians. He doesn't want us to put a cross on the back of the world- he wants these people to take up their own crosses. Christians should encourage them to do that through ministry- not force them into it with their votes- especialy sence it does them no good and gets them no closer to heaven.

i vote libertarian. This country is not a theocracy, and morality has no place in the law. The law is ment to protect liberty- not shakle people with the moral convictions of others.

never occoured to me to just shoot people who disagree with me... good thinken, that will make things alot easier. What i was thinking was just to shoot people who threaten your life, or liberty or that of your future lineage.

I think a better example of ignorance would be to make those kinds of statements. The kind that ignore all the variables in life and try to condemn actions. Condemnation of actions, any action at all, is just silly. Actions have absolutely nothing to do with right and wrong. Fighting can be good, it can be bad. Fighting itself has no bearing on the morality of the issue. Likewise, how quickly you begin this fighting has no bearing on morality either. All that matters is your reason for fighting. The more ignorant you are- the stupider reasons you have to fight. The smarter you are- the better the reasons you have to fight.

attitude adds uniqueness to life. How you react to things introduces loads of different variables. There is really only so many things that can happen to someone- the way they react is what makes the game fun.

Well then Tao- i now think higher of you then i did before seeing as how you got the original intent. Although that bit about my spelling set you back a notch. Ive been on this LDS board (here and there- taking prolong occasional brakes) for probably 4 or more years and have been given crap for spelling since then. I obviously dont care enough to do something about it. To be perfectly honest as to "why i hate you all"- i dont. At least not much, haha. When i made that post i was unhappy at the moment- plus very very very tired. So i took it upon myself to be a ######. As to my resentment and seldom presence on this board... quite frankly this board stinks now. It used to be cool when i first came to it (back when Ed was the moderator).
