Oh, one more thing about the post were the pastor or minister said that he could kill,rape,etc. and still go to heaven. I don't believe that to be true I know repentance is an on going process. 26 For if we asin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries Hebrews 10:26-27 This says if you willfully sin after we know the truth there is no sacrifice left.

Or they way Jews views the Samaritains? Did not the same type thing happen with this in the Bible?

I was talking with a couple sister from our ward today. There were over helping me with our newborn son while my mother in law is in the hospital. The were were letting me sleep since my wife is gone all day with her mother. We started talking about an experiance I had recently and it got us talking about pocession. One of the sisters said that there is a verse that says something to the affect of "If you cast out an evil sprit and do nothing to change your ways then 7 more will take its place" I just think it is a neat verse and I would like to find it.

Maybe I don't know alot about the man but he seemed really hatful to me. He had a real problem with gay people and I don't think is was the practice as much as the people. The man boycotted The Teletubies because he said the purple one was gay. He did the same thing to Wal Disney because of there "gay day". Don't get me wrong I am not for the gay lifestyle or anything. I just think a "man of God" should renounce the practise. Not try to force people to believe what he does. I know that may sound very insentive about someone who just died but that is how I feel. I feel that he was corupting the sacredness of Christaianity with his hate. But I do feel for his family at this time of there loss.....I feel for anyone who does not know the Plan of Salvation.

As I understand it a white shirt and tie is viewed as the "uniform" of the Priesthood. If a priesthood holder want to give a blessing, bless the sacrement, etc we should wear a white shirt and tie. This represents purity and rightousness much like alot in the LDS faith it is symbolic.

Proxy marriage is done in the Temple... A man and a Woman would stand in "proxy" for a deceased couple. For instance maybe grandparents who died without joining the Church. They are never forced to marry anyone it is there decision to accept the work done for them. The same is done with Baptisms for the dead they have to accept the work. The proxy work is merely done to allow the person to accept the ordinance not to force any thing. Jesus himself did proxy work for all mankind when he died for everyones sins.

I was sealed to my wife just a few days ago in the Columbia S.C. temple. Couples who are not married in the Temple are not commiting a sin and I don't think it should be viewed that way. For those who are married with a civil union they just don't have the blessing of being married for time and all eternity that is all. The marriage is still a marriage it is veiwed by Heavenly Father that way too. If this were not the case I am sure one of the modern day prophets would have spoke about the subject. The Lord would have directed him to tell the Church about it. I have been married to my wonderful wife since 02' I was baptized in 05' and sealed in 06'. I was never told other wise so I have to assume and use the brain (how every slow it maybe ) that it is not a sin.

I would be careful what you read when it is about "leaving the Saints". Besides you know it is right why even worry about it?
