And I have a pretty bad case. Now I am afraid of going to the temple which is a quite silent place and my tinnitus will ring over most of the noises there. To the author of this thread I would suggest to stop looking for the source of that annoying noise, but rather place something in your bedroom that masks or distracts you from it. Like wind-up clock, small water fountain. If that helps with my ringing ears, it may help you as well.

What I think, e-cig is not bad, same as mild coffeine drinks like cola or drinks with extremely low alcohol like kwass in Russia or non-alcoholic beer or vine. The bad thing is that we copy the worldly lifestyle. In my country we have a big bunch of missionaries. When they make photos, I've seen some them showing some gang signs. Like it's cool. The words "gosh" and "heck". The washable tattoo stickers for kids... That makes me sad, because that looks for me like from the Lehi's dream, - people that have partaken of the Fruit of Life, and now look to the big and abominable building with longing on their faces... There are many things that technically can not and shouldn't be forbidden. But if we stick to them, we may make more serious mistakes. If it's a bridge we do not want to cross, there's no need standing on it, right?

Don't worry, it will settle somehow. My wife is a small lady. They didn't find anything of her size the first time, so she cried all the night after her first day in the temple. She was unhappy about garments for few years, byt that didn't challenge her testimony about the Church or Temple at all. Now, about 10 years passed and she sees everything in the different light. But, still she had to order unique size garments to suit her body to make her comfortable.
