  1. I knew that no one here had any chance of getting it from the human point of view. I had hoped that a few would have the humility to dillegently test it with the Holy Spirit.
  2. That is all well and good. One thing that I know for sure is that both belief and disbelief form hindrances rather than paths to truth. A belief (or a disbelief) most often tends to be a mind closing thing. I do know that the Mormon way is very good. I am pretty sure that it is not infallible.
  3. I know that it would seem that way to most everyone. Things are not always as they seem to be.
  4. Apparently it is not yet time for this truth to be widely known. Paul provided milk for babes. What I am saying is more like raw meat, few may be prepared for it.
  5. Not at all. I have also experienced the impression that Mormons are far more spiritually receptive than most. I have not seen that you are any exception to this rule. It may be simply that most of mankind is not yet ready for what I am saying because it is not yet time for them to know this.
  6. It looks like this is about judging good from evil. I myself use the criterion measure of agape (Greek for unconditional love, mistranslated in the King James as charity, aptly called "the pure love of Christ" by LDS).
  7. I know that my understanding of these verses is correct from hundreds of direct experiences of this singularity. From my point of view it is like you are telling me that apples do not exist, while I am eating one. Apparently it is simply not given for you to know these things, at least not yet.
  8. Ephesians 4:6 (many different translations) That is exactly the part that I was referring to. Also it says God is through all things not works through all things. The reason that most people do not get to the truth is because they add words that are not there.
  9. Because the quoting does not quote everything what I said was not clear. This verse is saying exactly panetheism: Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
  10. Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of cSpirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us. OK so after reading Ephesians 4:6 and D&C 130:22 you see no way that God can be within us? (Panetheism).
  11. I agree it does sound too much like the Borg. I think that the idea might be something like relax and "go with the flow" of the Holy Spirit's promptings. I think that we get to a point where our will and that of the Holy Spirit's are merged together into a singularity. Our individuality remains intact.
  12. Panentheism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Panentheism (from Greek πᾶν (pân) "all"; ἐν (en) "in"; and θεός (theós) "God"; "all-in-God") is a belief system which posits that God personally exists, interpenetrates every part of nature and timelessly extends beyond it. I suspect that you may be showing the human nature's tendancy to want to be right more than to desire truth. I see no way that the above verse is not synonomous with the above definition.
  13. I am asking that you yourself and others reading this thread ask the Holy Spirit to confirm what I have said.
  14. Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
  15. You don't believe in an appeal to authority even though the LDS faith has as its foundation an the appeal to the ultimate authority? I am only asking you to appeal to the same authority that Joseph Smith did when he was a boy of 14.
  16. 1 cor 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
  17. I asked Stan whether or not Isaiah 45:6 is saying that {Only God exists, and that nothing besides God exists} and he agreed that it what I was saying this.
  18. So then God himself is an insufficient source? God has confirmed this to me hundreds of times in dozens of ways. Are you reluctant to test this source? I am not proposing pantheism Pantheism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia What I am proposing is more along the lines of John Lennon's famous song: Imagine.
  19. God trumps any human, including prophets. It does seem that the current prophet is doing a very good job though. I base this on a single quote: "May I speak first about the courage to refrain from judging others." This single quote is almost enough for me to conclude that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet.
  20. You suggested that I had not even bothered to read the verse in its context. In actuality I spend very many hours researching the orginal Hebrew. I found the single unifying thread (of meaning) that unites every major religion (except atheism) to the same essential message. The Holy spirit will confirm this as long as your mind is not closed by a disbelief system. I have been going to the Mormon church every week for three years specifically because I find them the most open minded.
  21. Because you suggested that I had not studied the verses well enough.
  22. The Holy Spirit has confirmed it. Choose to disbelieve if that is what you want to do.
  23. God trumps man.
  24. Like I already said, ultimately it is only the confirmation by the Holy Spirit that counts. It is the fact that Mormons are so good at this that I am drawn to them.
  25. Yes. He was their Hebrew bible scholar.
