Nate & Chanteemomof6 Give Birth To 6th Son
Chanteemomof6 replied to Chanteemomof6's topic in Parenting
Please we could use all of your prayers. Its been 2 weeks tomorrow and doctors are saying 1 more month. I need you all, I don't know if I can do this for one more month. I try to just think of the today and not any more, but when I am alone at night since nate works nights I lay alone and miss my little baby, especially while I pump my milk out since he isn't with me and I still want to nurse him when he gets home. All prayers and thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. -
I listen to country too. But here is one from the christian music channel. http://www.myspace.com/markschultz Click on "Walking her home" here are just the lyrics listed: go above to hear the song. I dedicate it to those that could imagine their lives without their spouses. Looking back He sees it all It was her first date the night he came to call Her dad said son Have her home on time And promise me you’ll never leave her side He took her to a show in town And he was ten feet off the ground (Chorus) He was walking her home And holding her hand Oh the way she smiled it stole the breath right out of him Down that old road With the stars up above He remembers where he was the night he fell in love He was walking her home Ten more years and a waiting room At half past one And the doctor said come in and meet your son His knees went weak When he saw his wife She was smiling as she said he’s got your eyes And as she slept he held her tight His mind went back to that first night (Chorus) He walked her through the best days of her life Sixty years together and he never left her side A nursing home At eighty-five And the doctor said it could be her last night And the nurse said Oh Should we tell him now Or should he wait until the morning to find out But when they checked her room that night He was laying by her side Oh he was walking her home And holding her hand Oh the way she smiled when he said this is not the end And just for a while they were eighteen And she was still more beautiful to him than anything He was walking her home He was walking her home Looking back He sees it all It was her first date the night he came to call

We haven't been able to go to church a lot lately with me being on bedrest for our 6th child and now he our son (Isaac) is in the NICU. So I also didn't get to go to our stake conference. I thought that I would share with you all that my husband got moved to working nights 7pm to 7am in the ER. Thats why Nate hasn't been too involved in the forum lately, but I wanted to share that even in the ER he has been able to use the priesthood. I am so proud of him that he hasn't been shy to ask when he notices that someone is LDS if they would like his help to give a blessing. Something despite our situation I have been proud to see him do for others. Just wanted to share.

Nate & Chanteemomof6 Give Birth To 6th Son

Thank you both for your thoughts and congrats. If it weren't for Heavenly Father this could be a lot harder of a situation. -
How do you feel about the old testament? The things that I have said. I was wondering coming from a non member of the church. Do you believe that there are other gods out there?

This is just my opinion. I feel that when Heavenly Father gave that commandment to Moses it was part of the lesser light and knowledge, the aaronic priesthood. As we should remember from the scriptures moses had two sets of plates that contained the two priesthoods. When he saw what what was going on when he came down from the mountain, he destroyed the second set of plates due to unworthiness of the people to receive the Melchizedek priesthood. As active members we know that we can strive to become Gods and Godesses. So therefore when we have the light and knowledge of both priesthoods we know that there are other Gods and Godesses out there. But we are the children of our Heavenly Father and we are to worship him only.

The Ultimate Test Of Faith And Dedication.
Chanteemomof6 replied to LionHeart's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
That quote brought tears to my eyes. my husband is Nate and he is in the Army. I think all the time about what if he has to go to Iraq. I feel selfish and want him to stay. He only has a year left, but he could get stopped losted and still have to go. So i think to myself why should he have to go over there. Here is how a lot of the LDS wives of Military feel. That over in Iraq they haven't had the chance to receive the gospel and if our husbands can share with one person the gospel then its worth it. Just a thought from an Army wife. -
When I posted this poem, it was for those of you who read this forum and are the angels that god speaks of. I was trying to remind us of how important our roles are as mothers. This wasn't suppose to be a portal to bash the bad seeds. But just a sweet reminder of the responsibity that Heavenly Father has placed in our hands. There are bad mothers out there I know first hand what kind of mothers are out there, but this peom isn't for them its for us, the ones that would give our lives willing for our children.

Chantee, do you ever get a straight answer from Nate? LOL. IN all serious though, Nate, everything is up for debate if one wants it to be, but I am simply asking... how could Song of Solomon not be of God if it was included in the Bible? Do _you_ think it should not be placed in the Bible? In the Inspired Version of the Bible which Joseph Smith did, he did not include it. It always puzzled me as to why? Now don't go answering me with another question... or else! In my experience with all things spiritual and with the ever frustrating Nate, take a deep breath clear your mind. Now I want you to think of a white glorious room think of nothing at first then feel the warmth of that room..... Now ask the question that is most in your mind. DON'T I REPEAT DON'T, criticize the first thoughts that come into your mind cause that is your answer from god not you over analyzing things. i hope that this helps.

Blessed, I have a 10,7,4,1,8mo and pregnant I have no cable and no internet that they can access. They have more things to do with their minds then waste time with tv. Don't get me wrong some things are educational, but you have to be careful. It always nice to hear you responds.

<div align="center">For the mother of my children, her mom, my mom, and all moms </div> <div align="center">The child asked God, “They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?” “Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.” The child further inquired, “But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.” God said, “Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you and you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.” Again the child asked, “And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?” God said, “Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.” “And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?” God said, “Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.” “Who will protect me?” God said, “Your angel will defend you even if it means risking it's life.” “But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.” God said, “Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you.” At that moment there was much peace in heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, “God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.” </div> <div align="center">“You will simply call her ‘Mom.’”</div>

I thought alot about weather i wanted to post this topic, but I since I came from a pretty shaddy past. I have seen the darkness in people's eyes and also the light in people's eyes. I felt it was important to share a poem of a girl who died knowing she could meet Jesus face to face and know that she followed his teachings that her parents had passed down to her. Death of an Innocent I went to a party, Mom, I remembered what you said. You told me not to drink, Mom, So I drank soda instead. I really felt proud inside, Mom, The way you said I would. I didn't drink and drive, Mom, Even though the others said I should. I know I did the right thing, Mom, I know you are always right. Now the party is finally ending, Mom, As everyone is driving out of sight. As I got into my car, Mom, I knew I'd get home in one piece. Because of the way you raised me, So responsible and sweet. I started to drive away, Mom, But as I pulled out into the road, The other car didn't see me, Mom, And hit me like a load. As I lay there on the pavement, Mom, I hear the policeman say, "The other guy is drunk," Mom, And now I'm the one who will pay. I'm lying here dying, Mom... I wish you'd get here soon. How could this happen to me, Mom? My life just burst like a balloon. There is blood all around me, Mom, And most of it is mine. I hear the medic say, Mom, I'll die in a short time. I just wanted to tell you, Mom, I swear I didn't drink. It was the others, Mom. The others didn't think. He was probably at the same party as I. The only difference is, he drank And I will die. Why do people drink, Mom? It can ruin your whole life. I'm feeling sharp pains now. Pains just like a knife. The guy who hit me is walking, Mom, And I don't think it's fair. I'm lying here dying And all he can do is stare. Tell my brother not to cry, Mom. Tell Daddy to be brave. And when I go to heaven, Mom, Put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave. Someone should have told him, Mom, Not to drink and drive. If only they had told him, Mom, I would still be alive. My breath is getting shorter, Mom. I'm becoming very scared. Please don't cry for me, Mom. When I needed you, you were always there. I have one last question, Mom. Before I say good bye. I didn't drink and drive, So why am I the one to die? Please if you have teenagers share this with them!!!!

Just a few words for thought. Do any of you watch those shows when your children are awake? I use to watch shows when they came on cause I wanted to watch them. Then i realized that if that show is something that we couldn't want our children to see them maybe tape it for later when kids are in bed. I personal took it a step futher. If i don't think that my child chouldn't be watching something, then that tells me I probable shouldn't be watching it either. Just a thought!

You Didn't Have Enough Children
Chanteemomof6 replied to StrawberryFields's topic in General Discussion
For all of those people reading the tread we have had 5 children in 5 years. One of our sons passed away while my husband was in boot camp. I also have 2 other children from my first marrriage. So that leavees me at a grand total of 7 boys 0 girls. i think I am doing my part for the missionary field. -
Here is the simplified verstion of our excistantce. NO DISREPECT TO HEAVENLY HOST OR ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!!!! Phase One: Our brothers tell us of their plan, for us to receive bodies and come back to our father's bosom. Theses two children were our eldest but were in disagreement over our father's proposed plan. So begins the first war of many for us. When the battle fields clear the children are Divide. The ones that chose the son of the morning (lucifer) are cast out. Phase two: Our learning continues in the premortal. We are presented with different paths that we can take. Different spouses that we could have and different parents that we could have. Each choice leading you down a different path. Different ailment and afflictions that we could have. Now we had to choose something. For the plan is a perfect plan everyone has to have trials to be fair. For all of us who got bodies need to be tested to see if we were worthy to come home. Now you might ask yourself why would any person choose cancer or any other fast killing aliment. God couldn't tell us, the full details of every affiliation, think about it 90% of our duobts in heavenly father come from an ailment for an infliction in us or someone that we love, so then we have the harder road then others but this is why..... Phase three: We are about to have bodies. The choices that we make from here until mortal death are all being watched and part of a giant test of life. There are some who chose the fast path back to our father. They ask naively , Heavenly Father I love you so much I don't want to waste time to see you again. Tell me the fastest way that I can be back with you. Now Heaven Father sat his child on his lap and cried. Overwelmend with love he told his child this path is the most difficult one for you and the ones that love you. Their will be emotional and physcial pain. This is a hard path, but if you can endure it, it is the fastest path back to me. for the test and trials that you will encounter all will be watch with my loving eyes. You may feel alone at times and think why is this happening to me. He promomises that he will be with you always and hopes that you will be taught by the ones that love you to just have faith in your father in heaven and you will be with him soon Phase Four: We make choices in our lives that set us up for which kingdom of glory we will abtain. We are judged and sorted persay to knowledge that was given to us in this world and what we did with it. Phase Five: Resuration Judgment time Phase Six : we enter the kingdom which our lifes actions choose for us. Phase Seven: Those of us who were rightous enough to enter the highest degree of the celestrial glory get to start the cycle of games over again. With our first spirit child being the savior for the first game. This could be pages long but i hope that people who have been to the temple remember these words that I write to given a simpler picture. P>S> please ignore my grammar and spelling. My computer was tweeking.

Where Do You Think The Two Witness Come From ?
Chanteemomof6 replied to Chanteemomof6's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
here is some more ! D&C 77: 15 15 Q. What is to be understood by the two witnesses, in the eleventh chapter of Revelation? A. They are two prophets that are to be raised up to the Jewish nation in the last days, at the time of the restoration, and to prophesy to the Jews after they are gathered and have built the city of Jerusalem in the land of their fathers. ZECH 4: 11-14 11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? 12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? 13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 14 Then said he, These are the two aanointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
