Here's the fat. I have a problem with illicit content on the internet. Am I supposed to fall on my face in agony over my sins? I often question my faith based on how I feel about my problem when I act out. I think "if my faith was good enough, if I was truely sincere, I'd be on the floor crying and begging for forgiveness." At this point though, I've done all that. Now I often think something like "well that sucks, better luck next time, it's not like you were worthy anyway." How should I feel when I sin? Should I feel bad? Should I be broken up over it? Should I let it roll off my back?

Here's how I see it. Eternal life is the kind of life that God lives. If its possible for us to have the same life that God has, the same fullness, then the Father must be an exalted man. That's what my reasoning follows anyway. If you've read the Pearl of Great Price, the book of Moses it says about God, "in the language of Adam, Man of Holiness is His name." In the language which God gave to Adam, the Eternal One, the Father of Spirits, is called a Man. I believe we are the same kind of being as this Man of Holiness.

Having trouble as in it's difficult to take in? Or trouble as in you cant see how the Holy Ghost can be a "god" given the discourse's contents?

There is no mention in the scriptures, ancient or modern, that the Holy Ghost will receive a body. As for him being a god, it really depends on how we're defining "god."

I've been reflecting on the differences in IQ between individuals and differences in average IQ between races. For example, the average IQ of Sub-Saharan Africans is 70, whereas the a average IQ of East Asians is 105. What about the pygmy people? Theirs is 54. What are the implications of these differences for the Plan of Salvation? Does a high IQ indicate a person increased to a greater degree in pre-mortality? Is IQ the manifestation of something in the spirit? Or do you think IQ is unconnected to the spirit? This is NOT a question of does IQ = morality/spirituality. Its a question of is IQ a flesh and blood reflection of a spirit's "mental capacity" or degree of increase.

How can Jesus be God's only begotten son in the flesh if Adam was also begotten in the flesh? Perhaps even more literally than Jesus, seeing as marry was over shadowed by the Holy Ghost? EDIT: It just occurred to me. Why would Bringham young believe Adam is begotten of God in the context of Adam-God?

If we speculate that God shares DNA with man, and since we know that man shares DNA with life on earth, this lends to the idea that God brought life from other worlds and seeded this empty planet with fully developed flora and fauna, and I just can't agree with that, and I don't think you agree with that either. Then again, since DNA is basically a blue print, it very might be the only DNA arrangement for the human body in eternity and therefore God would have it. But I don't know how that would fit into evolution and natural selection. I don't have to worry about these things because Adam's body was formed from the dust of the earth, and that's what every creation account says, Genesis, Moses, Abraham. And Joseph Smith never said it was incorrect and he was in an absolute position to do so if it was.

If the human body was begotten of God then our DNA should be absolutely unique and alien to the rest of life on this planet, but it isn't. We share DNA with other life on this planet, including plants.

Begotten denotes that Jesus is indeed the actual son of the Father, the Father's only begotten son in the flesh. I don't think it means any more than that. Alma 7:10 in Book of Mormon reads, "And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God." As for Revelation 1:5, it simply means Jesus was the first of the dead the to be resurrected. 2 Nephi 2:8 in the Book of Mormon reads, "Wherefore, how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah, who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, being the first that should rise."

The law is preeminent above all things. Here and in eternity. You can't simply ignore the law because you find it immoral. If you don't like it, you can change it. But ignoring laws you don't like renders the whole law null and void.

Perhaps the conservatives didn't support him and was rather elected by the moderate middle. I wanted Ted Cruz, Trump's a sleeze bag and wiener.

That's the law as determined by the 9th circuit court of appeals in Flores v. Loretta Lynch during the Obama Administration. Trump enforces immigration law rather than ignoring it. It has nothing to do with conservatives. Besides, the only reason we heard about it in the first place is because of the Democratic obsession with Donald Trump and their campaign to resist him by any means necessary.

Yes there's Satanic influence on both sides. But when you read the Family Proclamation and realize that it is contrary to the Leftist orthodoxy at every point, one must conclude the Devil is intimately at work in the Left. I know its a contradiction in terms to call the radical left an orthodoxy. But they determine the direction of the rest of the wing. I don't care for the Republican party either, I should add.

Its a shame that these truly insane people are in the supreme court and the Congress. The radicals will infect the middle, the middle doesn't have the same fervor.

What makes you think it works? They're bankrupt. What's this ruckus about greed and corruption? Europe is just as greedy and corrupt as anyone else. The reason it especially wouldn't work in the United States is because its a federation of 50 countries with 330 million citizens between them. The United States owes 210 trillion in unfunded liabilities, whats all this talk about a universal healthcare system? On what planet? The father wanted to bring the child to Italy for treatment but the NHS literally barred them from leaving the hospital with police while they forced the child to die by taking him off life support. The Government sucks. My mistake, so much for renewable energy then.

What makes you think they would have gotten abortions? The people who teach that its oppressive NOT to be sexually promiscuous are the same people who peddle abortion as a virtue because it unshackles women from male fertilization. What makes you think a state system will work here when it doesn't even work in Canada or Europe? It will bankrupt the United States and kill the people it deems not worth serving like it does in Great Britain. What makes you think you're going to tax foreign nationals occupying the US when you don't even know who they are? Or what if they're living in Democratic santcuary cities? If you want to lower tuitions, stop paying for tuitions. All the university will do is raise the cost of attending in order to get more of that free money. Unless you want to control prices? That's illegal. The United States needs to maintain overwhelming military power. Don't underestimate the importance of US hegemony. When Europe falls, and from the way things are going, it will fall, we will be the last western power on earth. We need to be able to fight a global war, nearly by ourselves, against the Chinese, the Russians, and their allies. Infrastructure isn't a Federal duty and it needs to stay out. The only viable renewable energy is nuclear power, but alas, the Left opposes everything good and convenient. Fossil fuels are good for the poor, because they're cheap and energy dense. They could not care less about stuffy, feel good agendas to hurt oil. Besides, what, are you concerned about global warming? It will not impede the purposes of the Lord, Co2 is a non-issue. And if you're embarrassed by this fact, get on your knees. Why are you a liberal? You see the millennia old zombified corpse of Government "solutions" but with a new coat of corpse makeup and declare "WOAH, how NEW! How PROGRESSIVE!! Why didn't anyone think of this before!?!?"

How is that garbage? They are pro-abortion, they see family and marriage as old fashioned and/or oppressive/restrictive, they believe there's nothing wrong with sexual promiscuity, they are anti-religion (unless its Islam,) and they hate the principle of work. This is what they believe. The radical Left has become mainstream in the Democratic party with the preeminence of Bernie Sanders and the rise of people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The fringe has radicalized the middle.
