Today, my 8-year-old daughter asked about her brother.

I know I've said this before, LittleWyvern, but j'adore your scientific posts!

Happy happy, Cap'n! Glad to hear you survived the experience.

Little Mighty was in the hospital for a 9-day stay a while back. I can't complain about much! I was curious, though, why housekeeping came in to fetch the garbage at FOUR IN THE MORNING. After a few nights, I figured out that a scrawled note taped to the door kept them out.
Loved:
The nurses and CNA's! Seriously, a fine crew.
The cute anesthesiologist. Dr. E, you know who you are! He did my spinal when this same kid was born. He's very witty!
The food services lady who snuck me apples and yogurts when Little Mighty was asleep. I was on a faux hunger strike while my li'l one was NPO. Dude, I lost 9 pounds!
Child Services. Fabulous playroom, and they had room service toys and books.

Regular health insurance usually covers counseling. Also, one of you may have an EAP, or other employee assistance program that provides counseling on a sliding fee schedule or at no cost.
When you're at odds over something this important, you need the intervention of a third party to help you come to a solution you both can embrace.
Also, why would you blame yourself for being unable to conceive? Infertility is nobody's fault.

Girl, get yourself to weather.com before you go out now! Geez! Glad you're home!!

No no no, Jiminy! That what these are for!

...if you love your mommy and daddy.

So it was a partial quote...if I'm indeed wrong. LOL!
Let a girl love her smilie, okay? Sheesh!

My car is a cop magnet, but it's only because I'm so cute.
Just joshin'! In Cali I was ticket-proof (married to a fed, worked in the muni court - I knew everyone!). I have lived in Idaho for 15 years and have only gotten one, well-deserved ticket. TOTALLY had it coming. LOL!

I picked a knit this morning, as a matter of fact! I chose the fisherman sweater over the suedecloth jacket, which is a woven.
Add my turtleneck, socks, and unmentionables, and boy howdy, have I knitpicked today!

Not to pick nits (ummm, ew!), but this is what's in stores as far as swim trunks go.
Men | Swimwear at Dillards.com
All but the tallest guys could wear garments with those.
In case the link doesn't work, it's the first page when you click on "swimwear" in the men's section of dillards.com
:)
Macy's wasn't any different.

I have no idea, but I'm so stoked that someone quoted Men In Black in this thread.
I have ALWAYS wanted to use this smilie!

Are you sure you're understanding the activity? I can totally see a "swimsuit competition" where the prize goes to the guy dressed in long plaid bermudas, aloha shirt, black socks, sandals, zinc oxide and a huge sun hat.

My then-boyfriend burped in my ear and I married him anyway. Does that count?

She gives Nancys a bad name.

I used to make dry ice bombs and they were SO LOUD!
I SO need a how-to.

I recommend that you sing "In the Leafy Treetops" to yourself. All day.
Okay, T's right.

LOL Pale. My oldest students are 4th graders. They'd just get a ride home.

Y'know, it's kind of like they've thrown down a challenge. It would be kind of rude not to get in on this zombie road sign action. I'm just sayin'.

Be still my heart! I heart geeks!
Edit: Don't take that wrong...I could be your mama!

What a fantastically geeky reply, LittleWyvern! And I totally mean that in a good way!

Henri Matisse. I want him back. I need my living room done. I mean done.
I am SO looking for him in the next world!
