About 8 months ago I decided to start in a gym again. I go there 5 times a week... maybe 6 for 1-2 hours. I just love the feeling afterwards.
I am one of those that need only to look at something to gain weight. So I been on a "diet" since. I dont eat potatoes or bread except hard raybread. I quit my one small bottle of pop and drink water, which I totally hate and start vomiting of... a bit lemmon in it helps though. I try to keep low on carbos. I am not fanatic so if we vist someone who has made us something good I eat it and I may occasionally by some chocholate after all we all know how GOOD it is for you! I also think I dont tolerate milk so I quit that too. I eat nuts adn we have a juicepresser so I drink a vitaminic juice every day plus I have a very nice souce for vitamines, fish oil and tocotrinols (e-vitamin) and nitrogenoxid producer. Actually I have lost quite a bit of the sweet tooth on that nitrogen product.

Hi Geo! You are on the right path. Feeling sorry for not doing what you should is a good way up! Just dont let it put you down when you again fail to read or such. good looks in our heats, just like in praying a short prayer can be better than a loooooong one!
Reading scriptures daily is also difficult to me that is why I started putting on line some scripturestudy... helps me often to do something. Or start reading just a few verses maybe with kids too. I loved sister Wixoms speach wher she told that a family started to read scriptures with only some 2 verses a day which they all repeated... I liked that.
I can understand the feeling of dullness when reading scriptures... after all I already read them once... I dont like to read books over and over again... I needed to find an other way to get in to the scriptures. My way was questions by someone who did not know of LDS faith too much, so I could use scriptures to answer.
Write a blog with short everyday toughts of what you read or try to prove something with the scriptures or just make a "speach" using the Scriptures. My awoke was to try to find out the MoB lands by reading the scriptures... I find the BoM geography facinating.

I think it was talking to the youth a lot. Our youth is strugeling and they do need strength to meet the world, that dont sometimes even like our standards.
Church ahs grown so much that members do need their own chanal to the Hevenly Father for answers.
No one is safe any more, we need a strong faith and we need to know how to find answers or be stubborn

Only way to get more faith si to do something= get up on testimony meetings and testify! Start with testifying about waht you know, about love of God and Jesus Christ.
I was a lot older when i confronted the antistuff ... but to me the accusitions seem so out of place that they sound ridicilous.
I feel that life is in many ways a gamble... and I gamble my all on the LDS Church. Well think of it this way IF LDS Church is not true then WHAT is? If the main Christinas would be right... which they aint... we would meet a trinity God... hmm. What would we do for ever... serve the God usually by sang, incense aso or they dont have a clue. What would be our purpose forever ... keep the incense burning? Song in the air? Anyway IF I would be wrong... the God is so nice He will forgive me anyway if I approve Jesus Christ as my savior... which I already do. And if someone thinks I go to hell as I am a mormon.. so what .. I sure decerve it then, and I wont be burning incense and singing for Him.
So I gamble my life on this and I will winn, as the other possibilities are pretty ridicilous.
What about Joseph Smith then? And the BoM? Think clarely, like I said above the other possibilities are pretty ridicilous. Would God have made us just to kind of be His toys? Does he really need someone to worship Him the way all of us would do after this life? There is just no sence in it. Joseph Smith brought back facts that have been lost in greedynes of men. Religion as a whole makes sence when you think of whys.
Mormons Book has to be a real thing as the accusitions against it sound as if pulled out of a hat! Suddenly, according to anties, has Spoulding written 2 manuscripts as one was found with no similaryty to the BoM, even though it was claimed to have a lot similaritiesa and beeing a lot alike. Ethan Smiths book again is just a boog and aquires a hemispheric look on te BoM, which is not agreed by scolars. Also why woudl JS point out a book he would have "forgered" from.

And if you say/think ... yes ... but those are apologister, members they would not give a partial answer they are mormons them selves.... uh... WHO would have the right answer then, anties? exmormons? I dont think so. ANY scolastic is bound to a certain way of thinking about religion. To some it is just rubbish what ever it is, not worth their time ... there is no God... to some it is a certain religion and deep inside they feel they have to protect their religion, fathersland and old customs, some just dont have the interest to digg so deep that they would understand... and IF they do... they become mormons as they notice that this is the only true Church of Jesus Christ. LDS scolars know their religion, they use time to digg deep that other scolars only srape on the surface and most of all they are honest. FAIR WIKIpedia is well put together adn it has the facts from BOTH sites well written there and it leaves to everyone to think adn find out for themselves.
Dont let what you dont know destroy what you already know! And dont forget what kind of person Joseph Smith fex was has NOTHING to do about the trutfulness of the LDS Church or gospel.

I did not hear this one for some reason the English sound was gone and by the time I got to the Finnish sound he was announcing the temples and I heard a bit of the translation about the young me on mision.... then I tried to fint the English voice again... I had the picture and the singing came trough... but not the english sound when the Profet was talking. After that the voice was working perfectly the rest of the two conferances.

Actually many of the accusitions are really funny when you think of them! People who dont even know one mormon know BETTER what we believe in than us! It si so ridiculous. Unfortunately today the accusitions creep under skin of those who dont really know the answer. Devil attacs individuals telling them things they do not want to know or hear about their religion.
I have an anti pushing on about plural marriage to a friend as he/she notised my friend for some reason dont want to discuss about taht matter... the anti says it is because my friend is ashaimed... in ALL possible ways the anti is trying to make my friend feel bad and start doubting. What the anti dont know is the real reason for not answering... could easily be that my friend has already answered the question once in that thread but the anti is not satisfied to that and then pulls me in the picture calling me lyer and more or less an stupid, unreliable person.
Many who go away from Church are the ones that have never been interested in finding out about it, so those anties can take them as they take them by suprise and ungarded. I think the biggest test for faith can become for many to believe that JS was a profet as the world today has a few things that today are considered revolting and sinfull and that in JS time was practiced. An important thing that they do not realise is that even IF JS had done somethig wrong it would not deminish his profetic calling. IF it did then many other OT profet should not be called that either. Many lived in plural marriage, many did things in their life that were not right, Jona even tried to escape his task.
We need to learn to trust what we know and dont get bothered of what we dont know.
Today in the RS meeting a lady told about a place from BoM where she thougth was a mistake... and said there are more than that mistake, too bad such thinggs are not discussed about there adn then (no time) except in the institutt once in 4 years. Or if the person asks the bishop or any other priesthood person. There was a bit of panic and some said that there is no mistakes in the BoM. I agree with that but sometimes some things are said a bit weird and like I think it was Mormon or Moroni who said that if there are mistakes they are made by a man not God.
I think FAIR Wikipedia is a very good sauce for truth. Too bad that too is often seen as a totally defending site, even though it has many non mormon links and referances and a very good scolarly aproach. Sometimes it does take a few rights to show the riduiculoseness of the anties accusitions.

I miss my cat so much... but it is difficult to have a cat when you travel pretty often to your mother or cotttage which are a days trip from you in an other country and if taken back the cat should have the vaccination for rabies relevant all the time... even though I have not heard ONE rabies case in some 50 years!
The rabies vaccination costs more than the trip! Luckily we got a good family for the wonderfull cat we had. -

Finish too is longer than English but faith is just usko.:)It's kind of that way in Tagalog too. They have that same "ng" sound. However, for some reason it takes a lot longer to say things. Looking at the Book of Mormon it's significantly longer than the English version. But when "faith" is "pananampalataya" I guess it makes sense:).
There is a funny word: saippuakauppias read it either way it is the same! It mensa a soap seller.
If I want to say even on my table I use word a table = pöytä... pöydällänikin llä= on, ni= my, kin= even

Finnish is ridiculously hard. I'd love to learn it but there's no way I'm ever going to get it. Might try Norwegian after I get semi fluent with German.
Heheh even 3 year olds speak Finnish!
Actually it is VERY easy to read if you know the letters... nothing like English where you write it a horse and pronaunce a donkey! Only ONE sound that dont follow the letter pronanuciation rule= ng is a sonud like in fang. You even pronounce the double letters long and one letter short!
When it comes in the grammar just put all to, in, on... at the end of a word ... and no a or the.. the table is just table (on the table would be tableon)
And you never know if the person is talking about he or she .... we just use one word for both... so you need to connect or follow the conversation to know.

Here the firemen are working for state and get their salary aso from the tax money.... paying in order to be sure that the firemen come is very weird thought to me!
Even more weird is that firemen wont come if someone has not paid the bill. 
:eek: It is like the elcompany here that cuts the electricity from people in wintertime IF they ahve not paid the bills. An old man died last winter in cold as he had forgotten to pay the bills.
