Find a place to stay in Sandy, and ride Trax. I'd be surprised if you can find a place during conference in downtown SLC. The Inn on the Hill is a pretty cool place to stay, too. Quote
Guest bat Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 I think the "no credit card" thing is going to be an issue with pretty much everywhere. Maybe Marsha can help. Where, or where is Marsha? Quote
Marsha Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Marsha is here. Winnie, you can always get a prepaid credit card just for the trip. You put on the amount of money that you want to spend and use it. Most motels/hotels prefer cc's to cash. I know that Motel 6 will let you prepay. Some don't as if there is anything wrong with the room when you leave they have no way of getting their money. Also they use it for Long distance charges. Once when I managed a motel in FL, the guest took the TV! He paid dearly for that 19" tv -- to the tune of $695.00. He didn't dare dispute that one on his credit card. Bet he never took another one either! Marsha Quote
Guest bat Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Hmmm, maybe I should stop stealing bibles from every hotel room I stay in. Quote
