tubaloth Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 (edited) That was pretty crappy BYU game! From the start nothing was going there way. I knew BYU struggled on the road (and at night games), but that was pretty bad. Turnovers left and right, having to go for it on Fourth down just to even give yourself a chance to win. You would think to try to at least play pretty good defence when its like 3rd and 11 or 8, but they give like 20 yard buffer zone! Whats the deal? Referees taking way to long to make a calls (You would think they were getting paid by the hour) Oh well, maybe Utah well get beat even worst by TCU... but I doubt it. I guess maybe BYU can go to a different bowel game then Vegas again. Edited October 17, 2008 by tubaloth Quote
Palerider Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Don't worry....there is still hope....there will be another number 1 in the nation and even in the top 10 that will lose again.... Quote
mightynancy Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 BYU's loss give BSU hope for BCS! Wow, don't I sound just like a teacher, throwin' acronyms around! Quote
Moksha Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Yes, Utah and Boise State are still in the running. I think the BCS bowls would have been delighted to have an eligible BYU, since BYU travels so well. We can round up wards members in a Tri-State area for attendance. I imagine TCU will be back in the top 25 after this unexpected win. Quote
tubaloth Posted October 18, 2008 Author Report Posted October 18, 2008 Actually TCU was #24 when they played BYU (they dropped out after they lost to Oklahoma) but back in just in time. Its a matter of how far up TCU well go, and how far down BYU well drop. Quote
