Calling all doctors

I have this problem with my eyes, and it's driving me crazy. Whenever I'm outside without my sunglasses, even for ten minutes, my eyes hurt, I get dizzy, my eyes seem to be glued to the sky, and I once fainted from this. This started a year ago, and I'm sure it's not normal. If anyone has any idea what this is, PLEASE tell me. Please? :confused:

It sounds like you need to pay a visit to your doctor. I'd start with your family doctor, first. He may want you to have your eyes checked, but probably not. I'm sure he'll want to run a few tests, to see if he can determine what is wrong with you.

Internet diagnoses are not very accurate. I suggest you see a doctor.

I agree with the others. See a doctor. Don't seek advise from those on the site who are not trained to diagnose a problem.

My husband is an RN-and he says see a doctor--specifically an opthamologist who is an doctor/MD who specializes in eyes. If you see a regular MD/Internist that is also a good start.

Could you ask your husband if he knows of anything that might cause this? I'll be seeing my doctor on the 26th, and I would like to know what it might be so I can ask her for the proper tests.

I've been to the doctor (four, including the school nurse and the camp nurse) no one has told me anything.

Recently, I've noticed my eye muscles twitching, and the right side of the back of my head sometimes throbs.

If anyone has any idea of what's going on, PLEASE let me know. Thanks.

Have you gone to an Eye Dr?? Look in your yellow pages under Physicians-MD & DO- OPHTHALMOLOGY. Pick one, call and make an appointment. Once you are with the Dr, tell him/her your problems.

I am extrememly light sensitive so I wear sunglasses year round. With out my sunglasses I am blinded by the sunlight within seconds. My eyes water, twitch, my head will ache after wards for hours. I also wear corrective lens, i.e. glasses. Without which my eyes water, twitch and my head will ache afterwards for hours/days and sometimes weeks.

Call an Ophthalmalogist and get your eyes tested NOW.
