StrawberryFields Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Our family has tickets to see the play Wicked this spring in Salt Lake City. I have heard many good things about the play so I decided I wanted to know the story before going to the play. I bought me a wonderful leather edition with both the stories in it; Wicked and Son of A Witch. I am on page 114 and it has proven interesting to say the least. I have spoken to my good friend Elphaba from the site here and she tells me that the book is not really like the play. Has anyone else read these books and what do you think of them? Quote

siouxz72 Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Hey SF! My daughter's friends all went to go see Wicked a few years back when it was in the Dallas area and they all LOVED it.. bought the sound track..walked around singing all the tunes..yada yada yada... So, Ivy decided she wanted to read the book to see what all the hubub was about. LUCKILY I took it and read it before she did...holy moses! That's all I have to say about that. Quote
