Wouldn't the mortgage holders still be able to point to their liens on the property filed with the County Recorder's Office? At any rate, it seems a little disingenuous to essentially deny the existence of a debt the homeowner knows is legitimate. Quote

It reminds me of a book that came out a while back. Kevin trudous debt cures they don't what you to know aboutOne of his suggestions to cure your debt was to avoid the creditors for 7 years (depending on state) and let the statute of limitations run out.
