I don't get it. Wouldn't the mortgage holders still be able to point to their liens on the property filed with the County Recorder's Office?

At any rate, it seems a little disingenuous to essentially deny the existence of a debt the homeowner knows is legitimate.

I agree. It reminds me of a book that came out a while back. Kevin trudous debt cures they don't what you to know about

One of his suggestions to cure your debt was to avoid the creditors for 7 years (depending on state) and let the statute of limitations run out.

Move to a country with no extradition policy for these sorts of issues, steel barricade your property to stop the vandals, squatters, and thugs called debt collectors and live large on drug running or pirating for the next 7 years. You'll be goodto go when you return, as long as you don't get shot first.
