sgallan Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 *** But you can't take drugs out of the equation that easy.**** Welcome to the real world, eh? She has those genetics. So it becomes a choice of a LDS facism/fundamentalism, and limits as a female.... or take the chance and let her be all she can be. I will choose the latter. *** That is just living a lie.*** Actually, you don't know what you are talking about here..... Quote
sgallan Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I know the last line..... ..... and I already knew that. People like you usually don't. I am cool with that. I already have my support. I rather like those who are at least honest about what they are. You have always been so. It just took me awhile to figure out who you were. You are one of the few who are not in denial. Quote

Lindy Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Lindy - You can pray for me. Thanks for giving me the go ahead Scott.....I can do that much for you anyway Life stinks sometimes....more for some than others.... You see my wife is in drug rehab..... make it so it never happened... that she never started drugs 30 years ago.... and later in life my daughter didn't get to see it..... and I didn't have to have my wife arrested. Sorry Scott, I know that you two have gone thru a lot with this problem.....hang in there, if we could undo it all, I'm sure that anyone of us would make it go away, but we can't. And Amillia means well, I just don't think that she understands your position like some do. I know that it's a good thing that you found "sub moms" to help the daughter out....Good thinking on your part. Keep your shoulders off the mat, and keep being the best dad you can be.....I'm hoping that things will work out again. Quote
sgallan Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 **** And Amillia means well, I just don't think that she understands your position like some do. **** I know. Once I figured out who she was I knew as much. It is why I started the other thread. Lets give her a little perspective of the utter pointlessness of life for those who do not believe as she does, or for those who do believe as she does, but are at risk of losing their CK ticket (Gay folk). For the first.... lets get to the good stuff... to heck with this scrawny 70 year period. For the Gay folk..... lets not risk our eternity in the CK. Frankly, if I were a Gay person in this faith I'd live life on the razors edge of risk and no doubt move on pretty darn early. It is not suicide as I wouldn't try to get killed..... but the effect would be the same.... and I'd get to experience some pretty cool stuff in the process. Quote
pushka Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Sgallan, I love your point of view, and I love the way you express it. I wish you and your family the very best of life after your wife has completed her rehab...you all deserve it! Good luck and best wishes to you all. :) Quote

sgallan Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 PD - I think it is a good rationale for the questions I asked..... without the Gay component included. But for the Gay person within the LDS faith, the risk of living and perhaps engaging in activity which would keep one from the CK - because of their very nature - outweighs any additional utility gained by enduring to the end IMO.
