StrawberryFields Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 As it seems that many are willing to discuss Divorce/Relationships etc., anyone want to share what they will be doing for their significant other for this Sweetheart Day? Quote
Jenda Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 My husband went into work this AM and won't be home till tomorrow night. So ..................... nothing. Quote
StrawberryFields Posted February 14, 2005 Author Report Posted February 14, 2005 I used to buy my children those heart shaped boxes of chocolates, but they said "Oh this again" one year and then I just quit buying them and they have not been missed at all. Sometimes when the mood has struck me I have bought them a shirt or pj's for my daughter. Funny thing about my hubby though, we usually don't buy "gifts" for each other on these holidays. We are always buying stuff, so most of the times these holidays just go by without celebration. Before he left for work I gave him a kiss and said ¡ÈHappy Valentines Day¡É and we will possibly go to an early dinner to beat the crowds. :) Jenda, maybe you can plan a special dinner for the two of you when he gets back. Guest lt Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Well....... I woke my hubby up at 4:45am, he got ready while I made him a suprise breakfast, and put a card in his car, along with a frilly with a hint of parfume.. ....... More than you needed to know..... We talked while he ate , then he went to leave to the airport to go on a buissness trip and will be back tonight.... as he drove out of the drive the car came to a screach and I heard........Can I take it into the meeting with me as he giggled......... Valentines is a daily expression on love, not yearly...........Yearly is for diamonds 12 years and standing.................................................... Laureltree Quote

Blessed Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 We celebrated our anniversary and Valentines on Saturday. Without telling me anything other than to "dress warm" he took me out early in the day for a late lunch at an organic vegatarian cafe... it was yummy!!! Then we went snow tubing for about 3 hours which was an absolute blast... I laughed so hard I nearly pee'd in my pants. Then we went for a lite dinner at a Thai restaurant and ate curry and then topped it off with a movie! I will leave it up to your imagination as to what we did when we got home! Needless to say it was HAPPY! Quote
