And those who do not leave also sin.

M.

I agree. And i think you missed the first part about it being a wives tale (I.E. not true).

It's just another example of backward thinking that some people have.

Reminds me of the other Wives tale. People leave so they can sin.

There were separate sentences, therefore I didn't think they were related. Next time try a semi-colon. ;)

I haven’t heard of people joining the Church, and doing all the temple recommend requirements, just to look inside, but I have heard of a man or a woman joining the Church, becoming active, for a woman/man, but as soon as they get married, he/she goes inactive.

I feel that no one should state things that they have no personal knowledge of, like stating something that you have heard from somewhere, by someone, at sometime in the past.

The site rules feel that way, too:

9. Please do not share any "true" or "faith promoting" stories, unless you can verify the source.

I've heard of (and nope, no cites so gallon buckets of salt here) of anti-Mormons getting baptized so they can ad the fact that they are ex-Mormons to their resume to give it a little more omph, so if they are anti I suppose something like that would be would just be an extension of such behavior. It was mentioned in some anti-turned-convert book about his colleagues doing such (joining and quitting not the temple angle) that I read a couple years ago and can't remember much beyond that and the reason for his investigation being the tactics that a lot were using.

As far as random people with no purpose beyond just seeing inside the temple, that one I've not heard about.

We had dinner with our neighbors last night, and afterwards went to their place to play settlers after the kids wend to bed.

Anyways, the topic of temples came up, and someone said that some folks join the church just to see the inside of the temples, and once they've done this, they fall away from the church. I suppose it's possible such people exist, although it seems like an awful lot of work. How common do you think this practice is?

Never seen it happen.
