You will find that your son will ask questions like, "How do I know that God is calling me?" when you least expect it. (I had this experience with my 7-year-old son while we were driving home from MMA class and I was stressed out trying to get home on time to make dinner while trying to remember what I have at home that I can easily whip up, all the while trying to navigate bumper to bumper freeway traffic with big trucks and suv's cutting me off every quarter mile). It makes the day special for both of you. It doesn't have to taste or look great - it's the gesture that counts.
