Ronster Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 Hey everyone I'm new to these forums. I'm from North Salt Lake and thought I might like to start off by introducing a seminary film me and a friend made called "Escaping Temptation" Let me know what you think. Enjoy! :) Quote
pam Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 That was awesome. The stunts were amazing. I also liked "temptation" wearing the "Go Blue or stay at home" T-shirt. That was a plus on the side of "temptation." You guys did a great job. Quote
Honor Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 You're making me nervous to drive in the entire North Salt Lake/Bountiful area! Just look out for my car and please don't end up under it ok? :) Looks like you guys had fun! Thanks for sharing! Quote
puf_the_majic_dragon Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 (edited) It's a bottle of worcestershire sauce!!!! LOL Ronnie is quite the acrobat, I'm impressed. I'd recommend using a boom mic or lavaliers. Cheapest option just be to redub the audio (if you have decent karaoke software you might be able to isolate the voice layers and increase their volume). And I think temptation needs a little more time to rehearse his scripture reading lines Edited July 27, 2009 by puf_the_majic_dragon I'm a grammar nazi Quote
Ronster Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 Thanks! glad you guys enjoyed it I know some parts its hard to hear what we are saying, youtube made it worse though. Yeah we should have rehearsed some more, because every talking scene we just improvised as we went along because we didn't have very much time to make the film. I don't know if anyone has ever heard of parkour or free running? Because that's specifically what I do. If you want to see more of my stunts this account has some really cool tricks and videos of me. YouTube - ronster82's Channel Quote
puf_the_majic_dragon Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 I saw one of your other videos - your portfolio. Posted a comment on it :) Planning on doing stunts for hollywood? So if I ever get my head out of my rear and get my mission papers turned in - you're going to be teaching me stuff while I'm at the MTC Quote
Ronster Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 Yeah I am actually working on becoming a professional stunt man eventually, but that will have to hold until after my mission which I leave for in 2 months to Edmonton, Canada! So if we ever did meet up I definitley could teach you some stuff. Oh yeah and the my portfolio video is a pretty old one, I wasn't very good back then. Probably one of my best ones is called 'Focus' and the link to that video is in my signature. Quote
Ronster Posted July 29, 2009 Author Report Posted July 29, 2009 Yeah definitely! Share it with everyone you want, the more exposure I get the better. Quote
