Carl62 Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 He was insanely funny from beginning to end! My two favorite characters of his are Peanut and Walter. Guitar Guy opened the show and not only is he an incredible guitar player but he was also really funny. If you've never seen Jeff Dunham, you've gotta check out one of his DVD's or his youtubes. I honestly could not stop laughing through the whole thing. Quote
Mahonri Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Doesn't he swear an awful lot? Quote
Guest Godless Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Doesn't he swear an awful lot? Here and there, but he's a lot cleaner than most comics. I'm a big fan of his. Quote

Carl62 Posted September 20, 2009 Author Report Posted September 20, 2009 Doesn't he swear an awful lot?I wouldn't say an awful lot. He's somewhere around PG-13. Like Godless said though, compared to other comics/ventriloquists I've seen on t.v., he's probably one of the most mildest ones...........as well as by far one of the funniest! He's getting his own series on Comedy Central at the end of October. Can't wait.:) Quote
Jenamarie Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 I looooooove Jeff Dunham! We're hoping to be in the market for another car within the next year or two, and I'm secretly hoping to buy a blue "bluuue" Prius and name it Je-fa-fa. Peanut rocks! Quote

Peanut rocks!Remember Jenamarie, don't put any Christmas decorations on it, don't take your kids in it because you'll never hear the end of it and whatever you do, DON'T use the chihuahuas head as a gear shift! Carl62 Posted October 1, 2009 Author Report Posted October 1, 2009 Not only have I never seen him..I've never heard of him.Pam, one of his specials is going to be on Thursday night (10/1) on Comedy Central. If you've never seen him, definitely check him out! I've got this feeling that they're going to be running JD specials every Thursday before his series starts. I hope!:):) Quote

BenRaines Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 Sinbad is hilarious. I purchased some of his stuff on ITunes. Great comedy without the profanity. Ben Raines Quote
pam Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 Does he still perform? It's been ages since I've heard that name. Quote
Carl62 Posted October 3, 2009 Author Report Posted October 3, 2009 As I said before, his level of profanity is around PG-13 level. I saw his Christmas special just last night (which is his most recent special) and there was only four bleeps through the entire hour. Listen to most cable t.v. comedians and you get that many bleeps in just one sentence! I've seen Sinbad also and IMHO, they aren't even in the same league. I've never heard of Sinbad selling out a 13,000 seat state fair like JD did here about 2 weeks ago or have the most viewed show in Comedy Central history (the Christmas special when it first aired). I'm not saying that Sinbad is bad. He's o.k., but there's a reason why JD is on his way up and Sinbad is on his way down and it's not just because people want to hear a few four letter words. Quote
