A Rise out of Rose

I was just thinking about biblical passages that say Jesus was raised from the dead (by God?) and those that say he rose from the dead (by His own power).

What are your thoughts about this?

Oftentimes when faced with a question like this (by whose power did Christ perform [X, Y, Z]?) I think of it this way:

The Father lent His power to Christ so that Christ could do it Himself. However, Christ couldn't perform the action unless He had perfect faith in the Father (Christ's faith acting as a 'power conduit' between Him and the Father).

Therefore:

Both did it- Christ raised Himself through faith in His Father's power.

The scripture is hinting to us that Jesus was both a man here on earth and Christ (God with us). That is why I accept the doctrine of the Trinity. Three persons ---- one God essence.

I think it could simply be perspective interpretation of the authors, or possibly a difference of understanding between 2 translators from one language to another. Kinda like if I had translated something from Spanish and if a guy from England translated something from Spanish. The same origin language is used, fundamentally the same new language is used, even the end meaning might be the same. But since I am using American english and the other guy would be using British english, there will still be grammatical differences.

A beautiful picture... God says that He rose Jesus from the Dead and that in John 2:19-21, Jesus himself said He will raise himself from the dead as well as the Spirit (Romans 8:11) you can imagine the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit all three persons of the Godhead raising the tortured human form from the grave, the final sacrifice to once again be inhabited and provide proof that he did indeed rose again. That's what I think of it :)
