boyando Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Recently, Glenn Beck interviewed Sarah Palin on his television show. One of the things that caught my attention, was when they both announced that, NBC willing, they would love too co-host Saturday Night Live.YouTube - Gov Palin Interview With Glenn Beck Part 6 (FoxNews 2010-01-13).flvSo this is kind of a questionnaire;A-Would you go out of your way to watch Glenn and Sarah on SNL?B-Would you go out of your way to avoid exposure too Glenn and/or Sarah?C-Would you watch because you always watch SNL?D-Don't care, so you wont be staying up late, for any program?E-None of the above. bluedreams Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 e. none of the above. If someone here posts it or it comes along my path later down the road then I'd probably click it to see what it was. But I wouldn't go out of my way to watch or avoid it and i don't watch SNL in full ever, just popular clips. With luv, BD Quote
boyando Posted January 15, 2010 Author Report Posted January 15, 2010 A. Only Sarah...and that would depend what she was wearing!!To be honest, I think that her interview with Glenn, was the first time I really looked at Sarah Palin. I just never got that excited about a Vice Presidential candidate. Don't ask me what Joe Biden looks like, I haven't a clue. And during her interview with Glenn, I kept getting distracted by the shadow her glasses were casting on her face. I mean, I know she is not rich, like Joe Biden, but is LASIC surgery out of her budget? OK, OK, I were glasses because LASIC is out of my budget. Quote

boyando Posted January 15, 2010 Author Report Posted January 15, 2010 LOL...oh no, the glasses work for me...the whole librarian thing! After thirty one years of marriage to the same beautiful woman, it's hard for me to even think about another woman (I really am trying to be good, here). Oh, but if I were single, I think that I would end up being arrested for stalking Condoleezza Rice, long before I even asked for Sarah Palin's autograph. Quote
rameumptom Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 While I occasionally watch Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin just isn't that interesting to me as a politician. And I'm not convinced she is that funny. So, I probably would not stay up late to watch it. Quote
Maxel Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I think it would be really funny to watch Glenn make fun of himself on SNL. I've never been a fan of Palin... The interview didn't get her my support, either. And, since she's never been a performer, I don't think she'd be that funny to watch. Quote

Your asking yourself is he saying Glenn is the dog or the lamb? I'm just saying, there is no conection there.........is there........there's none..................right? Quote
boyando Posted January 15, 2010 Author Report Posted January 15, 2010 SNL comes on past my bedtime.Me 2 Quote

I like boxer dogs, and I thought the picture was cute. Hence, it became my avatar. Quote
Moksha Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I think Sarah Palin would have trouble in an ad-lib situation, but letting her be mavericky to her hearts content could only increase the humor. Glenn Beck would be great in the sketches. The material the SNL writers could come up with that week probably would give them a leg up in the Emmy competition. You know how the special effects people made the blood spurt from that knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Think something similar could be done for tears? Quote
Misshalfway Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I watched the entire interview and all I could see was foder for an SNL skit. In fact, I am not sure what either really said. Sarah because I am never really sure what she is saying and Glen because I was so worried he would start crying again. Quote
