Snoopy_839
Hi Everyone, Nice to meet you all! =) I'm not a member yet but I've been very interested in the church. I have a lot of extended family who are LDS members but my immediate family is not. I've gone church a half dozen times or so and have attended several church functions. Since I usually attend church with extended family, I usually go to the Family Ward but I have yet to attend a YSA ward. Does anyone have information on that? I'm a bit intimidated to go by myself. Also, why are there separate wards? And are the YSA wards similar to the Family wards? Anyway, thanks for everyone help!
MisterT
Church meetings are practically identical from one building to the next; the only difference being language spoken and the order of the meetings. A Single Adult ward still has sacrament, Gospel Pricipals (Sunday school), and Priesthood/Relief Society; they just don't have Primary for the little kids. I would recommend that you find out who the YSA branch president or Bishop is and ask that a Single Adult representative or Ward Service Leader meet you at the church so that you're not all alone.
