A Question for The LDS

Hello, you may call me SunDancer, or simply SunDancer for short.

I suppose I shall tell you a little about my self before I proceed. I am a college student at UNO(University of New Orleans) and I am studying journalism.

As an assignment I have been tasked with conducting research on major religions. So I as you may all guess I have many questions. I am not here for a debate, nor to I intend to create a bias report, my study is merely meant to inform.

The question I have is a rather simple one, if not a broad one. What exactly does the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints believe?

No offence to your personally, but we get a number of these requests from college and high school students both here and on another LDS message board I post on, and I am curious why a student wouldn't go to the source (the official LDS website) rather than a message board to get answers? makes no sense to me. At a message board you have no idea who is answering and if the answers are true or not.
