What Are You Doing Memorial Weekend?

Wishing everyone a lovely Memorial weekend with family and friends :]

Hubby and I drove down from Salt Lake to visit my parents in Southern Utah. We'll be down here five days and have already been enjoying ourselves for two. At the moment we don't have any set plans. We may go out on the water at one of the nearby reservoirs or drive to Pine Mountain and hike. We did a BBQ yesterday which was a lot of fun but today we may end up just taking it easy.

My son is with his dad for the holiday weekend and I don't really have any plans. My fam all lives in Cali while I'm in Utah so no Family BBQ's. Tonight I'm gonna go hang out at an open mic night in SLC as a "This Is Not a Divorce Party" Celebration. I haven't gotten the word yet that my divorce was actually signed by the judge, but my attorney expected it this week or asap next. Still playing it by ear for Monday, but it's kinda nice to have it be a little up in the air.

My family will probably go to Lagoon on Monday. Memorial Day just isn't as fun since I moved from Alaska.

i will be working. the center i work at is also a transitional housing unit for homeless veterans and i will be BBQ'ing...lol.

I'll be working at my computer as usual, was going to attend a Ward party that's rained out now, attending a party with another family in our Ward in order to expand our friendships again, school work since I'm going to school, and then, probably getting caught up with work on Monday.

And to top it off, I hope to be finishing building a finishing booth in a big shed I have in the backyard when I have a couple spare hours!

No Memorial Day long weekend for us Canadians, although last weekend was our Victoria Day long weekend. But this weekend my menfolk are playing a paintball tournament in the rain and cold. If the weather is better tomorrow, I should go watch one of their games.
