So ok it really is pretty simple but what leads to the other (greater love=greater testimony) or (greater testimony=greater love) or are the intertwined? Maybe they are one in the same, really.

This is the opening sentence in the introduction to his book "Because He first loved us". Didn't take long for the Lords name to come up, didn't take long for him to get to the heart of the matter.

Henry B Eyring

"The first and great commandment is this “thou shalt love the Lord the God with all thy heart and all the might mind and strength and in the name of Jesus Christ thou shalt serve him.

The restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the prophet Joseph Smith brought many blessings but for me none is more precious than knowledge of the loving nature of our heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. When the Holy Ghost confirms that knowledge to us our hearts are prepare to keep that first and great commandment. Keeping the first commandment always leads in keeping the second because to love the Father and the Son is to serve those they love. In answers to our prayers for guidance they send the Holy Ghost to tell us how to help others and to feel at least a part of God’s love, so in that service our love of God increases and the keeping of that great commandment leads us back to the first in an ascending circle. In time our very nature change we are filled with a love of God which even in a world with so much misery and despair brings us happiness and hope."

Faith builds my testimony because when you know God and believe in Him you recognize His hand in your life more often. I am facing a situation which Heavenly Father gave me which has greatly increased my testimony. If you let God tell you about him and listen He will

Since so many testimonies go beyond just loving the Savior, I would guess them to be a subset of all testimony possibilities. I have heard passionate testimonies from Sweetwater Condo Timeshares being the one true vacation destination to Sarah Palin being qualified to be President. These testimonies seemed sincere but were ultimately off kilter. I will stick to the loving the Savior subset.
