Over43 Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 I read this latest book by Dan Brown (not a big fan necessarily) a few months ago, what stood out was Brown's apparent argument FOR the eternal nature of intelligences. Anyone else read this and feel the same way? Quote
Hemidakota Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 Not yet...but it seems I need to purchase the book. Quote
Over43 Posted August 6, 2010 Author Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) I'd just borrow it from the library. That's what I did. Edited August 6, 2010 by Over43 Quote
Hemidakota Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 I may have to tried that...but, usually, I will add it to my electronic versions after reading it. Meaning, being destructive to the book by copying each pages electronically. :) What is the best part about the book? Quote
Wingnut Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 What is the best part about the book? The part where you're not reading it.I loved Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, but I couldn't get through this. It spent half the book ramping up the story instead of getting into it. It was a tough one for me, and I finally just gave the book back to my sister, from whom I'd borrowed it. Quote
Over43 Posted August 6, 2010 Author Report Posted August 6, 2010 The best part is the last page. That's why I suggested the library. Quote
Guest The_Doctor Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 The best part is the last page. That's why I suggested the library.Or you could go to a bookstore and read the last page. Quote
